How does one get thrown out of The Happiest Place on Earth?
Before today Xander couldn’t tell you, and after today Buffy wouldn’t tell you. Yet, there it was, plain for the whole park to see. Two adults being escorted off the premises in their own personal utility buggy. When they had run, Buffy going one way and Xander in the opposite direction she had told him that she didn’t think that it was a good idea. He had barley even registered her muttered and shocked protest as there was still only minimal blood flow to his brain, but still pushed her towards the tiny window exit of the little stage house they were in. Mickey’s House, to be exact – while he charged for the door.
Xander’s whole mentality had been ‘every man for himself’ as he scrambled to get Buffy away from him as soon as possible. They could meet up later once the dust settled. But, as a direct result of the Slayer strength and speed that only the actual Slayer had, she had been the only one to get away. Luckily for him Buffy found it in her heart to not let him be taken down alone. She had successfully dodged the various park staff in her search for Xander then saw that he was being sequestered at the Information Station at the Shrek ride, and, with sever discretion ambled up to his side to face the music with him.
“I told you that this wasn’t the time or the place for…”
“Oh please,” Buffy interrupted his harsh whisper with her own while both kept their eyes locked ahead. The security guards were watching them like they were the Devil and his little helper incarnate. “You enjoyed,” she pointed out, “and you did very little to stop me, what with you suggesting it and all.”
“I WAS JOKING!” Xander shouted and then calmed down under the hard gazes. “I was joking,” he repeated in Buffy’s ear. He heard Buffy huff as her arms crossed over her stomach. When did Buffy ever take him seriously?! How was he supposed to know that if he said that they could slip in there, he had gestured to the Mouse House and noted the fact that the kids were being cleared away for Mickey and Minnie’s break, and they could…do stuff. She had rolled her eyes at him while walking discreetly towards the house, not even a trace of a smile on her face and asked what type of stuff?
Xander had jogged to her side and leant over her shoulder to whisper his suggestion into her ear. Buffy had sucked in a deep breath and cracked a grin. “In Disneyland? had had nodded. “You want me to…”
The house had been easy to break into, what with Buffy having experience in that field. He just watched her back while she slipped through the window in the back of the house and opened the door for him from the inside. Xander had tried his best to look like he had every right to be going into the house while he searched the parameter for anybody who might have the authority to bust him before slipping inside.
Xander surveyed the house and felt the sham of childhood all around him. Brightly painted walls and faux plastic furniture and flower vases adorned the space only to window level. Below that it was all bare dusty floorboards, and to top that off, matching Mickey and Minnie costume heads that had been left idle during the twenty minute break. That was all before Buffy’s tongue was in his mouth and her hands were pulling at the button and zipper of his fly. He had thought that it was a little morbid what with the two heads sitting in the corner staring at him with huge mesh eyes, but apparently his cock didn’t seem to mind what was in the room as long as Buffy kept rubbing it – jerking it to full attention.
Buffy’s flirtatious smirk, the superior one that she always wore when he had given her reason to believe that she owned him completely, preceded her dropping down in front of him, hers eyes locked with his the whole time. And it was utter and complete perfection – the hot wet cavern of her mouth and the coinciding feel of her fingers scraping over the coarse hairs on his lower abdomen. His hands locked as gently as he could manage in her hair when she hummed against his hard flesh. His hips jerked out in a rhythm with her mouth, grinding slowly and with restraint, when she took him in as far as she could. Buffy was breathing hard through her nose, tickling and heating the skin beneath her massaging fingers where she had pushed his shirt up.
Xander hadn’t ever wanted her to stop…wanted her to keep touching him and taking him and marking him as hers always. And he knew he shouldn’t want that. Knew that Buffy had made him promise that he would never want that from her again. It was just so hard…
Buffy had pulled back, the hand that was on his stomach gliding down to wrap around the root of his shaft, holding it steady in front of her face while her free hand wandered up his left thigh, tickling him slightly even through the fabric of his jeans until she reach and cupped his sac with a gentle squeezing grip. She had looked up at him then with a most salacious grin before her tongue slipped out of her mouth and she teased the head of his cock with it. Wetly sliding over the opening, tracing the contours or the head, trailing down on one pass and then up the next…over and over again while she looked up into his eyes and took his reaction.
It was probably his moan that drew attention first, as it was out loud and near pained. The best type of pain, Xander remembered thinking idly as he slammed his head back against the ply wood wall and grunted out her name. When he looked down again Buffy was still looking at him and just the sight set off the first gut clenching, ball tightening waves. And Buffy had moaned – reveled in the darkened haze of his eyes with the faintest string of his cum running from the head of his dick to her tongue and before the line could break she had refocused and plunged her mouth back onto him.
Another groan that helped to speed up security, Xander guessed now, and to top that off, after he had glanced to the window that had been on his left, he realized that he could probably be seen from the walk way. But it was too late to worry about that right then. Buffy had been moaning around him again and had taken him as far into her throat as he could go and she was doing that thing she did. That thing were she made a wet sucking vacuum out of her mouth, sucking up and down a few times before stopping on a down stroke, holding him back deep in her throat and swallowing – the muscles squeezing around the throbbing swollen head of his member while her mouth kept the shaft in a warm hold. That always got him. Yep, he had been a goner and just in the nick of time, too.
A long steady humming moan that had started out as a call of her name when the throbbing in his groin went to a burning pulse and then segued inarticulately and with a rapid quickness to a powerful explosion that forced his eyes shut against the blinding intensity. Buffy took it all. Lapped at it with high pitched squeals to let him know that his reaction was exactly what she wanted. Swallowed his very essence and silently telling him that she knew that she had pleased him, that she knew that she was damn good and he had better appreciate that he had her. And, oh boy, did he ever. Xander tried to show her how much she was coveted as much as she allowed him to. And it was a rare occurrence for the Slayer to be so accepting, but right then, she wanted him to show her more…show her all that he could and he could read that in her eyes…
Buffy had licked him clean from top to bottom and all around with a warm smile in place the whole time before tucking him back in his pants. She had been sliding up back up his body and just then another rare occurrence took place. A grown man in a headless mouse suit screaming ‘WHAT THE FUCK!’ while he filed into the play house flanked by three Disney guards.
“And don’t roll your eyes at me.” Xander pouted now that the buzz of orgasm and the adrenaline of trying to run away wore off.
“And don’t roll your eyes at me,” Buffy imitated him in a high pitched voice. “Alright mom, Jesus.”
The cart jerked to a stop in the Lion King parking section and Buffy and Xander slid out of opposite sides. “You kids are lucky we didn’t catch you in the act,” the man in the passenger seat called to Xander’s back while he hit the unlock button on his car for Buffy. “You’d be dealing with the OCPD then. Lude acts in a public place…”
“Might have actually been better than spending three hours in the park office,” Buffy offered snidely over the roof of the car. “You can’t prove we did anything.”
Xander gulped and nodded to the man.
“The ban still stands Miss,” the security guard spoke directly to Buffy, who in turn glared back. “You’ll get a formal sanction in the mail.”
The Slayer rolled her eyes. “Get in the car Xander,” she said before slumping into the passenger seat and slamming her door. Xander, still under the scrutiny of the guards, followed Buffy’s instructions and got into the drivers seat. “They don’t have to watch us,” Buffy sneered over Xander to the men in the cart as he pulled out of the parking spot. “I don’t even want to go back into their dumb park.”
“Good thing s that’s not going to be an option then, isn’t it?” His voice didn’t hold a hint of humor even though the remark was sarcastic.
Buffy turned and studied the side of his face as he drove in silence out of the park and onto the main road back towards their hotel. “Can I roll my eyes now please?” Xander sent her a quick glare and Buffy actually laughed out loud at him.
“What if I have kids one day?” he asked heatedly, even though, in reality he was trying not to let Buffy trick him into laughing too. “What am I supposed to tell them? ‘Sorry we can’t go to Disneyland, guys. Daddy’s banned cuz he got a blowjob in Mickey’s house.’”
“Hopefully you won’t say *that*. Maybe go with something a little more G-rated, don’t you think?” His eyes were dark and disbelieving when he cut them to her again. Buffy sighed and reached into the backpack that was on the floor by her feet, pulling out a pair of Mouseketeer ears and putting them on. She turned back to him with a bright and hopeful grin while she tried to get him to smile again. “We’ll just take them to the one in Florida. That one is supposed to be better anyway.”
Xander’s jaw clenched when he heard that. The ‘we’ll’. Buffy hadn’t seemed to catch her slip though and the next thing he heard was her talking excitedly about the rides that they had gone on before they had gotten booted. Right now she was grinning her way through the 3-D ‘Honey I Shrunk the Kids’ exhibit.
“You screamed,” Xander taunted with a smirk. “I thought that since you were a Slayer and have experience with the dingy and grimy underworld that you could handle rats…”
“Those weren’t rats!” Buffy protested as Xander pulled up to the hotel and turned off the car.
“My point exactly,” he beamed and she pushed him a little. “You were afraid of simulated rats. Rats that were really air jets.”
Buffy tried to jab him in the ribs half heartedly, “I don’t like that! I…I have sensitive ankles!” Xander looked at her skeptically and started laughing. “Fine!”
“Say it,” Xander requested with a cheeky grin. “You know you were, just say it and I’ll let it drop.”
The Slayer slit her eyes but kept her gaze locked ahead at the automatic hotel doors. “I got…sc…sca…”
“Sca…sca…”
Buffy was seething inside at his tone and she was sure that Xander didn’t realize how close he was to being taken down in the middle of a parking lot. “Scared,” she finally got out the word that few Slayers ever admitted to. “I was scared, Xander. Happy?”
“Giddily so,” he beamed. “You got scared, you got scared!!!” he broke off in uproarious laughter and dodged Buffy’s swing at his arm.
“Knock it off,” Buffy demanded while he continued to sing his ridicule. “I mean it! Xander!” he had taken off in a run in the midst of a taunt and Buffy picked up a sprint behind him, chasing him through the parking lot and into the lobby. She crashed to a halt when Xander turned and wrapped his arms around her waist and using her momentum to swing her around. “Xan!” she protested again, even while matching his smile. Buffy could just feel everybody in the elegant, yet Disney themed, room, yet Xander didn’t seem to care. “Put me down!” her tone belayed her enjoyment despite the embarrassment.
Xander did as he was told this time and set the Slayer back down on the floor. He hesitated only a little while he thought about removing his arms from around her, but decided to just keep a loose hold. “I’d keep you safe.”
She had almost melted on the register that he put behind that statement…the emotion, but she forced it away. Buffy had gotten good at that. She had had enough sex with the intentions of having no emotional strings attached to know that her plans always blew up in her face. Especially when she had the strings to begin with and maybe…possibly…she hadn’t cut them all the way like she thought she had… “You just have to keep *you* safe from me.” Buffy caught his raised eyebrows and saw that he was about to say something inappropriate. “From me kicking your ass,” she specified quickly.
“Would you be wearing those boots…with the heels and…” Xander smiled at Buffy’s glare and let her pull herself from his arms. “Alas, my fantasies go ignored yet again.”
Buffy narrowed her eyes and walked backwards towards the front desk. “You should be used to it,” she chided good naturedly once she was out of arms reach. “That happened for how many years? Four…five?”
He wanted nothing more than to mention Faith. Nothing more in the world. But his small rational side called out, reminding him that that was the reason why he and Buffy weren’t together in the first place. Ammo involving lovers past was some of their most hurtful fodder when they had been fighting and Xander didn’t want to regress back to those times. He doubted that even though they were friends again…somewhat more…it would be strong enough to be put through that ringer a second time. Xander simply closed his eyes in an expression of pain and grabbed his chest as he stumbled back. “Like a sword, Buff,” he winced, “Your word cut like a sword.”
Buffy shook her head, “Just go upstairs, Swashbuckler. I’m going to get some brochures so we can plan what to do tonight.”
His lopsided grin broke out and his eyes darkened even though he made no move to touch her. “I’ve got some ideas.” Buffy looked at him expectantly and he knew that she couldn’t possibly think that his notions were going to be constructive or even practical, yet somehow, she always seemed to want to hear it. Buffy got an unmentioned pleasure out of hearing his desire for her, and Xander never let her wishes go unfulfilled. “We could have ye walk the plank for ye insubordination.” Now Xander hobbled back to her with his left eye squinted shut.
“Walk the plank?” The Slayer was grinning despite herself.
“Arg Matey,” he drawled. “Me thinks I should get to me quarters and start constructin ye one worthy of you defiance.”
“So you’re Captain Harris now, are you?”
“Arg, young wench.” Buffy slit her eyes and Xander actually gulped. “Just arg.”
“Just swab your poop deck up to the room before I launch a full scale mutiny,” she pushed him backwards a few paces. “Captain Harris,” she then added for him benefit when his features settled into mock rejection.
“Yo ho yo ho,” Xander waggled his eyebrows at her and pretended to hike up his pants exaggeratedly.
Buffy watched him go with a smile before turning and heading for the brochure display by the front desk. She had a lot of things that she wanted to do and after she took care of said *things* in the hotel, she and Xander could work on public ventures. Buffy idly wondered if the ban meant from all things Disney or just from the theme parks specifically because, judging by the list of stores, the Downtown Disney shopping district was something that she should definitely visit…plus Xander was probably hungry and there seemed to be a lot of food there too.
“You and your boyfriend going out tonight?”
Buffy jumped when the random question posed in an unfamiliar tone sounded from her left and she hadn’t been prepared. “He’s not my boyfriend,” she said as if on reflex. The daily task of defending her and Xander’s relationship had built it up over the course of many months. Buffy turned and saw the boy leaning against the wall beside her and studying the pamphlets in her hand. He was cute in a high school slacked surfer punk way. Longish sandy blonde hair all messy but off setting his green blue eyes perfectly; sort of skinny and no trace of visible muscle definition and his pants held by a too big leather belt low on his hips. He was wearing a Disneyland Resort Hotel vest and she assumed that he was probably hard at work on his summer job already. He was probably just Dawn’s type, Buffy thought offhandedly.
The guy laughed, “Does he know that?”
Buffy matched his expression and reaction, but then stopped suddenly. “Yes.”
The boy faltered a bit, but then replaced his smile. “I…I ah…I’m Jack…I work at the door…kitchen sometimes…”
“So I’ve read,” Buffy reached out and flicked his name tag between her fingers. “Buffy,” she offered uncomfortably after a few seconds of standing under his expecting gaze.
“Buffy,” he nodded slowly. “Pretty name.” She smiled at him while he stumbled over his words. “So,” he started again, “I saw you come in last night. With your friend.” Buffy nodded again.
“He’s on a business trip.” She offered in hopes of being some assistance. Jack’s nervousness was holding her up and she was secretly itching to just get back to thumbing through the brochures and finding things she wanted and could probably pout Xander into buying. “I’m mooching the free trip.”
Buffy watched curiously while the blonde boy tossed a quick glance over his shoulder to the doorman station, and the three other boys who were gathered around it. She saw them all smiling and one waving his friend on with wide eyes and suddenly her heart leapt into her throat. Jack turned around again and Buffy fixed him with the brightest most uncomfortable smile she had ever worn. He was hitting on her! She was being hit on! That was one step away from her ultimate plan, and *way* ahead of schedule Buffy realized with a hint of private congratulations. Buffy ordered herself and tried to relax herself.
“Have you ever been to the parks before?”
Buffy shook her head, smile still in place. “The parks?!” Why was she shouting? “Oh yeah! But it was forever ago besides today. I was probably, like, ten. But I don’t think I’m allowed back for at least another decade.” Buffy slapped herself mentally, why was this so hard? She was saying things…stupid things…and shouting and that idiotic smile would just not go away! This kid was probably Dawn’s age, if that, and she was trying to flirt with him?! She had more problems than her possibly not being as over Xander as she needed to be. She was Mrs. Robinson. The woman that all the other old ladies talked about at their book club meetings because she wasn’t there because she was out tooling around town with her twenty year old boyfriend! Like a weird time warped spinster! That’s what she was! And jack was talking again and she hadn’t heard a thing because she had been talking to herself, so she was crazy too! Dammit Xander! That’s it it all boiled down to. Xander being right about her being insane…and…and making it so that she hadn’t thought about the actuality of establishing a relationship with another guy. He had ruined her game, the rat bastard!
“That’s fine,” Jack smiled warmly. “I’ll let you keep some secrets to yourself, I guess.”
“Huh?” Buffy knew that she looked exactly how she felt. Confused, shocked and anxious.
The boy eyed her and Buffy hated the look he was wearing. Angel had looked at her that way, then Parker, then Riley and Spike…It was that look that meant that somebody was going to be hooked on her. Somebody else had seemed to scoop up on the riddle that, apparently was Buffy Summers and they were going to drive themselves into the ground to figure it out. She hated that look on any man because it meant that later it would follow with one of pure heartbreak when they had to leave. Buffy thought it was a little odd and somewhat funny that Xander had never looked at her like that. Of all the intense gazes that Xander had faced her with, none reflected the burning desire to have her deciphered, understood and controlled. He had always taken her explanations, which were more in depth than any she had ever given to any man, and accepted them. Sometimes questioning for his own knowledge and other times simply shaking his head and saying that he didn’t get her and had settled that right then he didn’t want to. Buffy had realized about a year into their relationship that by his reactions, he probably had managed to figure her out more than any who had tried before him, and he had done it behind her back. It scared her a little…made her shy away because it put him too close.
“I asked why you couldn’t go back to the park. You didn’t say anything, and I’m alright with that.”
“Thanks,” the Slayer nodded, not knowing what else to say.
“Um…” Jack gulped and then shook his head, an easy smile breaking out. “Listen Buffy,” he looked her in the eyes. “I’m jut going to bite the bullet here and ask you if you want to do something tonight.”
Buffy was wide eyed again and her throat felt dry. “Did you just?”
Jack nodded nervously, “Yeah…yeah, I just did.”
“My friend…” Buffy started and gestured back the elevator that Xander had just taken upstairs. “I can’t just…”
The boy nodded but spoke to the contrary. “Not even for a few hours?” Buffy shook her head no. Jack’s puppy dog eyes had nothing on the man upstairs.
“I’m really sorry, I just…I…”
“I get it,” Jack dropped his head and his tone turned a little hard.
“I’m probably *way* too old for you anyway,” Buffy offered hopefully. “I mean, you’re what 18? There’re probably plenty of girls…
“I’m twenty one,” Jack said emotionlessly. “But somehow I don’t think it matters what year I was born in.” Buffy turned her eyes to the floor and his tone softened a little. “Forget it…just…Enjoy the rest of your stay here and Disneyland Resorts.”
Buffy looked on speechless as the boy walked away. Usually she would have been all over that, if for no other reason than to make herself feel good, but this time, as soon as his intentions became apparent her stomach had dropped and her heart had lurched to a stop. She felt almost…guilty…like by even considering going out with somebody else she was ch… She scooped up her pamphlets and marched with an evident determination to the elevators.
