He is still haunted by her death.

Spike stumbles into a motor bike and leans against it.
Spike: Sodding wanker, beating the shit out of my baby!
His voice was bordering on hysterical laughter.
I have to stop him, now.
"Where do you live?"
Spike pauses and tilts his head.
Spike: The factory pet.
So that's where he took me.
To his nice cozy factory.
A place I will never forget..........
