Three—A New GodAngelus
remembered how she had been when she had first learned she was a demon, a
vampire. He still remembered her huddled in the corner sobbing and muttering
the lord’s name over and over, remembered how she kept saying she was “pure”,
was a “good girl”, she was in denial. She kept praising Jesus and God and
saying that she was the lord’s child. Her only words of clarity were about

being one of “God’s children” once and for all.
