Dawn pulled the trigger, watching as the cross bow bolt whizzed across the room, hitting its intended target, causing the vamp that was still stabbing Spike to crumble to dust on the floor.
The action startled Trull's remaining men, giving Angel the needed advantage to break the hold the men holding him had him in as Dawn let another bolt zoom across the room.
Angel kicked out, catching the vamp holding Dylan hard, causing him to lose his grip. He smiled briefly as Dylan freed himself and the fight was once again presumed.
Dawn hurried across the room, letting the bolts fly whenever a vamp came near her. She ran to Spike as he lay on the floor. She guarded him, reloading her cross bow quickly, dusting vamps as the rest of the gang fought with a fury, quickly dusting the remaining men that had stayed behind.
Dawn threw her weapon across the floor and fell to her knees beside of Spike. "Spike...Spike, can you hear me?" Dawn asked, her voice as shaky as her hands were as she lifted his head up off the floor.
"Run and grab some towels!" Rob yelled to Jesse as he ran over to Dawn's side, seeing to Spike's injuries. "Help me get this off." He said, after falling to the floor beside of Spike's motionless body, trying to remove Spike's duster so he could see what damage had been done.
Dawn wiped at her face as her tears clouded her vision. Why they had stabbed him like that and not dusted him, she'd never know. She figured it was just for Ravyn's benefit...nothing seemed to thrill Trull more than watching her suffer.
Angel fell to his knees beside of Spike as Dawn held his head in her lap. "Spike...can you hear me?" he said, cursinietlietly to himself as he saw the blood pouring out of the stab wounds that littered Spike's body.
"Lay him down." Rob said as he rolled Spike over onto his back gently.
Dawn let Spike's head ease to the floor. She was still crying as she looked at him. She rubbed her hands over his face, trying to let him know someone was there. She knew he couldn't die from a stab wound, but she knew well enough that vampires still felt pain.
Angel grabbed Spike's shirt, ripping it open so they could see how bad his injuries were. Dawn let out a small sob and turned her head as she saw the stab wounds.
"Here you go Rob." Jesse said breathlessly as he handed Rob the things he had asked for.
"I need the medical supplies from my office." Rob said, holding the towels over the still bleeding wounds.
"Here man." Blake said, laying the medical bag down he had went and retrieved, knowing they would need it.
Dylan walked over, lifting Dawn up as she cried. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly as she cried. "He'll be fine sweetie. Don't worry." He said quietly as he watched the others tend to Spike.
"Angel" Spike whispered so softly Angel barely heard him.
Angel turned his head when he heard Spike's soft whispers. "Spike...can you hear me?" Angel asked him.
Spike fluttered his eyes opwincwincing as Rob applied pressure to the more serious wounds. He turned his head slightly, looking for Angel.
Angel leaned down when Spike whispered again. "Don't try to talk Spike, we'll have you fixed up in a minute."
"Go get her." Spike whispered again as he fought to keep his eyes open.
Angel leaned down when he heard Spike trying to talk again. "I can't understand you Spike." He said holding Spike's head still as he looked at him.
Spike opened his eyes and looked up at Angel. "Go get her." He said again, this time a little louder.
Angel smiled down at him and shook his head. "Yes Spike...we're going to go get her. Don't worry."
"Now." Spike said, fighting for consciousness. "Get her now."
Angel looked at Spike, sighing lightly before he smiled at him. "Sure thing Spike...we'll go."
Spike smiled best he could relieved they were going after her. He closed his eyes, images of Ravyn flooding his mind as the world around him slowly went silent and dark.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Trull carried a still crying Ravyn into the mansion. His pleasure in hearing her cries were diminishing as she continued. The sound of it was starting to get on his nerves as he walked into the main hall and approached his chair, dropping Ravyn from his arms, smiling as she hit the floor with a loud thud.
Trull shook his head when she just lay there, her head buried under mounds of hair, crying like someone had ripped her heart out. He smiled again when he thought about it and stepped over her body, sitting himself in his chair and stared at her as his remaining minions fell into place around the room.
Ravyn could feel his pain. She knew he wasn't dead, she could still feel him, but the pain he was in was almost unbearable. She couldn't rid her mind of the images of him being stabbed...because of her. It was all her fault. If she would have just left when she first thought about it, none of this would have happened. He was still be safe and unharmed.
"Alright precious...enough of the blubbering." Trull said smiling as he looked down at Ravyn.
Ravyn tried to stop crying; knowing he would punish her more than he already was if she didn't. She tried to calm her breathing and not think about it all, but she couldn't block it out. She could still hear Spike yelling her name, still see his face as the knife was pushed through his body and could still feel his love for her.even after all that had happened.
"Bring him." Trull said motioning for Phillip.
Phillip looked straight at Trull, not daring to look at Ravyn. He had no idea what Trull had planned for them, but he couldn't help her if he were dead.
"I'll spare your life, if you shut her up." Trull said, beyond irritated as Ravyn continued to cry.
"Yes Master." Phillip said quietly as he was released from the strong hands that held him.
Phillip looked down at Ravyn, his heart breaking for her. Not because of what had happened to Spike, but because she was here again. He bent down on the floor, picking her head up and brushing her hair away from her face so he could see her.
"Come now Miss Ravyn. Stop crying." He said gently as he lifted her up and rocked her body in his arms.
Ravyn clung to him, burying her face in his chest as he tried to comfort him. She listened to the sound of his voice and his comforting words until her harsh cries ceased, replaced by only small whimpers.
"There now...everything is going to be just fine. I'm here...I'll take care of you." Phillip said quietly as he continued to rock her.
"It's all my fault." Ravyn said softly, clinching her eyes shut tightly as she thought of Spike. "He's hurt because of me."
"Shhh...none of that now."
"Well, that is most impressive Phillip." Trull said as he leaned forward in his chair. "Does she always listen to you that well?"
Phillip looked up at Trull. He met his eyes briefly before bowing his head again.
Trull chuckled as he looked at them both. "Pitiful...both of you. A disgrace to all vampires!" he yelled. "I should just kill you both, rid the world of you bleeding hearts." He added sarcastically before laughing loudly.
"Tell me tiger...did you have a nice time playing house with your vampire?"
Ravyn finally looked up at him, but turned her eyes away when she saw the smile on his face. The sight of him made her sick.
Trull laughed louder as he looked at her. "Poor Ravyn...separated from her true love, only to him him thirty years later." Trull said with a smile. "How does it feel to know YOU are the one that killed him?"
Ravyn looked up, trying not to show the surprise on her face.
"Do you really think I'd let them all live, JUST because you asked me to?" Trull asked her. "Pity really, your vampire was rather attractive for a man...but I guess you already knew that...huh?"
Ravyn wiped her face as she looked at him. Did he think Spike was dead?
"I guess I could have his ashes swept up and brought here for you...if you want."
Ravyn looked back down, the smile trying to play on her lips would surly get her killed. She felt relief wash over her knowing that something must have happened after they had left. Spike wasn't dead like he thought, which meant the gang must still be okay.

Dawn pulled the sheets up over Spike as the guys all went back downstairs. They had sewn up the larger cuts he had and had finally got him settled. He had been out for a while now and as worried as she was, Angel had assured her it was just all part of the natural healing process.
Dawn stood and tidied up the room. She felt useless. The guys were going over an alternaten fon for Trull as Spike was obviously not going to be going with them. She couldn't stop thinking about the whole thing. She wondered and worried about Ravyn. Spike was going to be hard enough to handle when he woke in pain without the added stress of Ravyn being gone.
What had made Trull decide to come early? Was his plan to surprise them all along? Dawn's mind was a whirlwind of questions as she looked around the room. Her eyes fell back on Spike and she walked back over to the bed and sat on the edge. She just looked at him, knowing he'd do everything he could to get Ravyn back, but would he end up hurt worse or killed for good next time?
~*
"So, what now?" Blake asked as all the guys gathered up the weapons that littered the floor.
"We go get h Ang Angel said, stacking the table with his weapons.
Blake turned to him and walked over to where he was standing. "Angel...I don't wanna sound..."
"Then don't." Angel said glaring at him hard. "We're not leaving her there. If you don't want to help, then leave."
Blake just stared at Angel before shaking his head. He turned and went back to picking up weapons. The others kept stealing glances at Angel. He had the most intense look on his face. They weren't sure if it was because of what happened to Spike, Trull busting in on them or the fact that Ravyn was gone.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Go get her chains." Trull said with a smile as he looked at Ravyn.
Ravyn's head shot up when she heard Trull's command, fear rushing her as she saw one of the minions scurry out of the room.
"Master Trull, I don't think that's necessary." Phillip said, releasing Ravyn and stan.
.
Ravyn felt her tears come back, knowing `why' he intended on chaining her up. She closed her eyes briefly but opened them back up when Phillip pulled her up off of the floor.
"Ravyn, look at me." Trull said as she stood there with her head hung.
Ravyn lifted her head, her tears spilling from her eyes as she saw the smile on his face.
"I have another surprise for you." Trull said, his smile increasing.
Ravyn just stared at him, knowing there was `nothing' good about his surprises.
"You want to see it?" Trull asked her, leaning back in his chair.
Ravyn swallowed hard, he mouth completely dry as she saw the menacing look on Trull's face.
"Come here...I want you to have the best seat in the house."
Ravyn looked over at Phillip, slightly reassured by his friendly smile.
"Go ahead Miss Ravyn." Phillip said quietly, a big smile on his face. He had no idea what Trull had planned for her, but he'd be there to help her deal with it...just like he always had.
Ravyn gave Phillip the best smile she could before turning her head towards Trull. She took a few slow steps towards him, her fear almost paralyzing her as she drew closer to him.
"That's it...come along." Trull said, holding his hand out to her.
Ravyn finally made it over to him, gasping lightly when he grabbed her arm and pulled her down on his lap. She looked out at tinioinions that were gathered there. She looked at the number of them and knew Trull had taken a significant loss in his attack, his number of minions cut in half.
"You are going to LOVE this." Trull said smiling brightly as he reached up, running his hand down the length of her hair.
"Edward." Trull said, motioning his favorite minion forward with his hand.
Ravyn watched as Trul's right hand man stepped in from the back of the room, walking towards them and stopping beside of Phillip. She looked at him as he stood there smiling.
"Now precious." Trull said, "I know I've been rather cruel to you in the past and I do say that Phillip here has been a big help to you...am I right?"
Ravyn turned her head and looked at Trull, his smile almost so big she wondered if his face didn't hurt.
"Well, I want to reward Phillip for all his devotion." Trull said, looking back out at Phillip.
Ravyn turned her head, also looking at Phillip. She smiled at him as he looked at her. If she never made it out of here, she knew she'd be okay with him by her side.
"Phillip, how long have you been with Ravyn here?" Trull asked him.
"Over twenty years Master Trull." Phillip answered him.
"Twenty years." Trull said, shaking his head slightly. "Twenty years of taking care of our girl here and never once have I allowed you to taste her."
Ravyn's smile fell away from her face the minute Trull spoke his words.
"That's quite alright Master, it's not necessary." Phillip said, hoping he wasn't talking about what he thought he was. He would never do that to her.
"I wasn't asking Phillip, just stating a fact."
"Yes Master." Phillip said relieved.
"But I do want to reward you for all your years of faithful service to her. She has truly improved...because of you."
Ravyn stared at Phillip. She smiled again when he glanced over at her.
"It's really not necessary Master." Phillip said again, knowing Trull liked tel gel generous even when his minions refused.
Trull smiled big as he looked at Phillip. "Oh...but it is completely necessary Phillip."
Trull wrapped his arm around Ravyn's waist, giving her a light squeeze until she looked at him. "This is all for you tiger." He said quietly, before turning his attention back to Phillip.
Ravyn turned back ad, ld, looking at Phillip as he once again gave her the warm friendly smile that was always shown for her.
"Edward...give Phillip his reward." Trull said, his smile plastered firmly on his face.
Ravyn looked over at Edward, her eyes widening as she saw him pull a stake from his pocket. "NOOOOOOO!" she screamed as she stood up, running towards Phillip as Edward slammed the stake into Phillip's chest.
Phillip had only a brief moment after he felt the wood pierce his heart, smiling as he looked at Ravyn before everything vanished.
Ravyn screamed and fell to her knees, running her hands through Phillips ashes as the entire room burst into laughter.
"Surprise!" Trull yelled through his laughter, holding his side as the stitch he got from his hard laughter poked him.
Ravyn clutched her arms around her stomach, laying her head down on the floor as her crying had her feeling sick. The laughter in the room was drowning out her sorrowful wails as her only lifeline left was now taken from her.
Trull watched Ravyn as she screamed, rocking her body back and forth and knew he was going to have a hell of a good time breaking her this time.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Dawn jumped, startled when Spike let out a small yell. She opened her eyes and stood from the chair and walked over to the bed. "Spike." She said as she looked down at him.
"Something's wrong." Spike said, tears in his eyes as he looked at Dawn.
"What's wrong Spike?" Dawn said worriedly as she sat on the edge of the bed.
"Ravyn...something happened." He said, fighting to keep his breathing under control as he felt her loss and despair wash through him. "She's hurting."
Dawn reached up, wiping the few tears that slid down Spike's face. "What's happening Spike? What do you mean she's hurting?"
Spike closed his eyes, trying to push her feelings aside as they gripped him. "Something happened, she's hurting...not physically, but emotionally."
"You can feel everything she feels?" she asked, still not completely understanding the bond they now shared.
Spike shook his head. "Yeah, everything."
"Can she feel what you feel?" Dawn asked as tears slipped out of his closed eyelids.
"Yes"
"Then help her deal Spike. Let her know you're still here."
Spike opened his eyes and looked at Dawn before smiling at her and closing his eyes back. He concentrated on Ravyn; giving her the only thing he could at the moment...hopefully it would be enough.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Ravyn's breath hitched in her throat as she felt a tide of emotions wash over her. She stopped crying as `listened' to everything Spike was feeling. She smiled, a few sobs escaping her again as relief flooded her. He was still with her.
Trull watched Ravyn, especially when she stopped crying. He leaned his head to the side when he thought he heard her laugh lightly. He smiled thinking she may have finally went insane.
"Master."
Trull looked to his left when his minion approached him. He smiled when he saw him. "Just in time." He said, looking at the chains his minion held in his hands
Ravyn heard the chains rattling and lifted her head slightly, knowing what was coming. She looked back down at Phillip's ashes, her eyes watering as she saw the whole thing over again. Spike's image flashed through her mind, his face, his pain as he was stabbed, his love for her as if flooded her body.
*You can't be scared of him, that's what he wants. You fight him, if he's going to chain you up, then give him a damn good reason to.*
Trull stood from his chair, glancing at Ravyn as she moved slightly. "Bring them. sai said, looking away from Ravyn and motioning for his minion with her restraints to come forward.
Trull turned his head when he heard a small growl. He cocked his head back and smiled when he realized it had come from Ravyn. He chuckled when she gradually got louder. "Now, please don't tell me you're going to try and fight me?" he asked as he took a few steps towards her.
Ravyn lifted her head and looked at him, game face on and smiling. "That's exactly what I'm g to to do." She said before she jumped, lunging for Trull.
Trull fell backwards, falling over his chair as Ravyn tackled him. He yelled as she slashed him across the face with her nails. "Get her off!" he yelled, as Ravyn clawed at his face.
Edward rushed forwards, dragging Ravyn off Trull and slung her across the room. She stood quickly, driving the stake she had picked up from Phillips ashes into the nearest vamp she could get her hands on.
Trull sa, wa, watching in disbelief as Ravyn screamed and attacked his men, killing them quickly as they just stood there stunned by her sudden attack.
"Don't just stand there...get her!" Trull yelled as he watched another of his minions fall to dust.
Ravyn kicked out, catching the vamp in front of her with a hard kick to his head. She watched as Trull's men gathered around her. She smiled as she looked at them. She hadn't felt this good in.she couldn't remember. The adrenaline rush along was worth her coming punishment.
Trull sat back down when Edward righted his chair. He pulled a handkerchief from his pocket, wiping at the blood that was pouring from the deep scratch on his face as he watched Ravyn. He had never seen anything like it. She was all over the place. She was quick, to fast for the sorry bunch he had. "Stop her!" he yelled again as two more of his minions fell.
Trull wade-ede-eyed as he watched the scene before him. Ravyn was screaming with every attack and he knew she had gone completely insane. He had finally pushed her too far.
Ravyn screamed as she was tackled to the floor. She kicked out, almost getting her footing before they were on her. She bucked wildly as they held her down. She managed to get one foot loose, kicking the vamp holding her right leg in the face before swinging it arouning ing ing another.
"Hold her!" Trull yelled, standing from his chair.
The vamps holding Ravyn were amazed at how strong she was. She had fought back before but was never any match for them, now it was all they could do to hold her down. She was growling loudly, bucking her body off the floor as five vamps held her down.
"LET ME GO!" Ravyn yelled, kicking and thrashing her body, trying to free herself.
Trull sat back down heavily in his chair once Ravyn was restrained. He stared at her, just as stunned as the others were.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU TRULL!" Ravyn screamed as she continued to try and free herself.
"Get her out of her." Trull said as she continued to scream at him. He watched as his minions picked her up, struggling to carry her away as she squirmed and kicked at them.
He sighed heavily as they rounded the corner, wiping again at the side of his face.
Ravyn screamed loudly as they carried her down the hall. "LET ME GO!" she yelled, thrashing around in their grips.
Edward ran ahead of the others and opened the door to her room. He stood, waiting for them to bring her in. "Just throw her down." He said as they carried her in.
No one knew how they were going to survive once they let her go, but did as told. Ravyn hit the floor hard as they dropped her. She turned her head, standing quickly as they all ran for the door. She ran as Edward pulled the door shut just as she reached it.
"LET ME OUT!"
Trull sighed heavily as he heard Ravyn yelling. He wondered how long she would keep this up as she started pounding on the door.
"She's secure Master." Edward said as he once again entered the great room.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU TRULL.YOU HEAR ME YOU BASTARD!"
Trull looked over at Edward as Ravyn started kicking on her door. "Will it hold?" he asked, not sure if any of them would be able to control her if she escaped.
"I'm not sure Master." Edward answered him. He himself had been thinking the same thing. He had never seen her like that and to be honest...he'd be lying if he said he wasn't worried about the situation. An insane vampire wasn't something that happened everyday, especially one who had been treated so cruelly as they `all' had treated her.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Spike sat up, wincing slightly as pain shot through his body.
"Where do you think you're going?" Dawn asked as she walked back into the room.
"Downstairs." Spike said, throwing his legs over the edge of the bed. He grabbed his stomach and closed his eyes as the pressure became intense.
"Oh no you're not!" Dawn said loudly, walking back over to the bed.
Spike looked up at her and smiled. "Dawn, I'm fine. Just going to see if Angel's left yet."
"Well, they haven't. Now lay back down."
Spike sighed lightly before standing. "I'm going downstairs, now you can either help me or not." He said, walking slowly towards the door.
Dawn rolled her eyes as Spike walked past her. She huffed a little before walking over to him and wrapping her arm around his waist. "You're completely pigheaded.you know that right?" she said as they walked out the bedroom door.
"Yeah, I know." Spike said smiling.
"I'm not sure we have enough time." Rob said as Angel gathered up all the weapons bags.
Angel looked towards the front door that was still standing open and sighed heavily. "We don't." he said, knowing the sun would be up in a few hours.
"We're not waiting." Spike said from the top of the stairs.
Everyone turned to look at him as Dawn helped him walk down into the lobby.
"You really shouldn't be up Spike." Rob said as he looked at him.
"I'm fine." Spike said, completely lying. "We ready?" he asked, looking over at Angel.
Angel chuckled at him and shook his head. "We" he said pointing to all the guys, "are ready.you're not going."
"Like hell I'm not!" Spike said loudly as he glared at Angel.
Angel rolled his eyes and shook his head as he looked over at Spike. "You can't go, you'll get in the way."
"I'm going." Spike said firmly as he stopped in front of Angel.
"No.you're not."
"Stop me!" Spike yelled.
Angel lad asd as he looked at him. "If I have to."
Spike clenched his jaw as Angel chuckled at him. "I'm going whether you like it or not peaches."
"Well, if you're able to walk on your own by tomorrow..."
"TOMORROW!"
Angel shook his head again. "YES..Tomorrow."
"We're not waiting until tomorrow!"
"Spike, the sun will be up in a few hours, we have no choice but to wait." Angel told him. "I'm sorry."
Spike looked over at the door. He could feel it too. He sighed heavily as he thought of Ravyn having to spend one night at Trull's. At least he could tell she was pissed now' that was better than what she was dealing with earlier.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Ravyn kicked hard at her door again, smiling when she heard the thick wood crack. She smiled bigger as she continued kicking, seeing the wood splinter.
Trull looked at Edward when they heard the first crack.
"I'M COMING FOR YOU TRULL!"
Everyone in the room looked nervously at each other, wondering what Trull was going to do. He had sat quietly for the past twenty minutes, listening as Ravyn kicked at her door and screamed at him, telling how she was going to kill him. There wasn't a vamp in there that didn't think she'd do that very thing if she ever made it out of her room.
Ravyn laughed as her foot finally slammed through the door. She jerked her leg back, pulling it back through the hole and kicked again, watching as the door splintered more. She stopped kicking and leaned down, looking through the hole, smiling when she noticed no one was guarding the door. She studied the hall outside her room and smiled bigger as a plan came to her.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Angel loaded up the SUV and shut the cargo door as the others climbed in. He walked around and climbed inside, glancing over at Spike as he sat in the passenger sidet. Ht. He tried everything he could to keep him from going with no luck. He had listened to Spike bitch and complain all day about the sun taking its sweet time in setting and as much as he didn't want the extra burden of bringing him along he figured as long as he didn't try to go in with them, he really shouldn't be to concerned about it, Ravyn was `his' after all.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"That's strange." Dylan said as they stopped down the street from Trull's mansio
"What is?" Rob asked him.
"Well, there's no one outside." Dylan said as he craned his neck, looking for the guards. "Trull always has men stationed outside."
The guys all looked at the mansion. It was dark, not many lights were on and there wasn't a single vamp to be seen anywhere.
"Well, let's go girls." Spike said as he opened up his door.
"I don't think so." Angel said grabbing his arm.
Spike sighed heavily as he turned his head to look at Angel.
"You're staying in the car." Angel told him, "I don't have time to baby-sit the weak and wounded and save your mate..got it!"
Spike rolled his eyes and slammed his door back shut. "Fine!" he yelled, crossing his arms over his chest.
Angel looked at him for a minute before turning to the others. "Lets go." He said before opening his door and getting out, the others following him.
Spike watched them all walk away and smiled when they were out of sight. "Like I'd listen to you." He said to himself as he opened his door and got out.
The gang had revised their plan, deciding they were safer staying together. They entered the back entrance Phillip had told them about, following the darkened halls up to the main floor.
"This way." Dylan said quietly as they headed down the main hall towards the great room.
They crept quietly along the hall, each of them wondering why there were no vamps around. The place was completely dead. As they approached the end of the hall Dylan stopped, holding up his hand signaling the others to stop.
Angel came up from the back and bent down in the floor next to Dylan as they looked into the great room. The hall they had taken brought them up the back entrance. They could only see a portion of the room, but it was enough to let them know where all of Trull's minions were.
Angel leaned his head to the side as he saw the vamps just.laying around. "Do you always lounge around in there?" he asked Dylan quietly.
Dylan shook his head no as he also saw the minions sprawled out on the floor. He shook his head again as he continued to look at them. Some were just sitting there staring at Trull while others were actually laying down, all staring at Trull.
"What do we do?" Blake asked as he watched the non-activity in the other room.
"Well, I guess since they're so relaxed we just storm in and hope we get Trull before they have time to react." Angel said, not sure what to make of the whole situation.
"Sounds good to me." Blake said smiling as he readied his cross bow.
"Let's go." Angel said as he stood.
"Let's do it."
The guys all ran towards the great room, cross bow bolts flying as the vamps inside all looked up stunned and started to stand.
The fight was to easy..not one of Trull minions were fighting back. Angel looked around, freezing as he looked towards the front of the room.
Blake crashed into Angel and looked at him funny when he just stood there, mouth gaped open slightly. He turned to see what had caught his attention, his own mouth falling open.
Slowly every member of the gang had frozen in there spots and staring ahead, in complete shock at the scene before them.
Ravyn was sitting in Trull's chair, her legs thrown across the arm of it, smiling big as she looked at the gang. "It's about time you cowboys got here. I was beginning to think you'd forgotten about me." She said smiling at them.
"Ravyn." Angel said softly as he stared ahead and took a few steps closer to her.
Ravyn smiled big as his stunned face amused her. "So, what'cha think.is it art or what?" she asked looking behind her before turning back around to face them.
"Ravyn are you okay?" Angel asked, walking closer to her.
"Never been better." She answered him. "Why?"
Jesse turned his head, covering his mouth before he ran out of the room, Ravyn's laughter following him as he trailed his lunch across the floor.
"Humans. " Ravyn said grinning.
Angel looked at her. Had she gone mad? He looked at the remaining minions Trull had left and noticed they were all smiling. What had happened in here?
"Where's my vampire?" Ravyn asked, swinging her legs around to the floor. "Did you bring him?"
Angel tried to answer her, but was having trouble as he stared at what she had done. How was Spike going to deal with her if she were completely insane..not that Drucilla hadn't been, but not like this.
"Hello?...Spike..where is he?" Ravyn asked again as she walked towards them.
"Right here." Spike said as he rounded the corner.
Ravyn's head snapped around at the sound of his voice and she smiled big as she looked at him. "Spike." She said before running to him.
Spike winced lightly as she threw herself at him. He wrapped his arms around her as she grabbed his head and crushed her lips to his.
The gang all took a few steps closer to the front of the room, each with a confused look on their face. They had no idea she had that in her.
Ravyn wrapped her arms around Spike's neck, holding him tightly to her as he forced his tongue in her mouth. She moaned as she tasted him, finally feeling safe.
"What are we going to do?" Blake asked quietly as he looked over at Angel.
"Not sure."
"You think she's dangerous?"
Angel chuckled lightly as he shook his head. "Yeah, I'd say so."
"I mean, do you think she'd hurt any of us?"
Angel turned his head and looked over at Ravyn and Spike, smiling as he watched them. "No, I don't think so."
Spike pulled back from Ravyn slightly, smiling as he looked at her. "I love you." He said against her lips, stealing another quick kiss.
"I love you too."
"What happened yesterday?" Spike asked her. "Something was wrong. I could feel it"
Ravyn looked down briefly before raising her head to look at him. "He killed Phillip." She said softly, ing ing her tears away as she thought of her friend.
Spike raised his hand, rubbing the side of her face. "I'm so sorry Ravyn." He said, placing a kiss on her forehead.
Ravyn gave him a weak smile. "He was the best." She said, remembering his kindness to her.
Spike wrapped her in a tight hug, closing his eyes as she clung to him. He smiled and opened his eyes as she kissed his neck. "Bloody Hell!" He said loudly as he finally saw Trull. "Did you do that?" he asked as she pulled away from him and turned around.
"Yep..looks great, don't it?" she said smiling.
Spike took a few steps closer and leaned his head to the side. The guys all watched him, wondering what his reaction was going to be. The huge smile that covered his face wasn't what they were expecting.
"Hey Nic.look who's here." Ravyn said loudly as she looked at Trull.
Spike smiled as Ravyn walked up to Trull and slapped his cheek. He shook his head as Trull opened his eyes and looked at them.
"Spike" Angel said, stepping closer to him.
"Did I not tell you she made Angelus look like an amateur in the torture department." Spike said, still smiling.
The guys all stared at Trull. Shaking their heads as Spike chuckled slightly.
"Railroads spikes?" Spike asked chuckling, amused at her choice of weapons.
Ravyn smiled as she turned and wa bac back over to him. "Thought it was fitting for the occasion." She said as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
Spike leaned his head to the side as he studied Trull. Ravyn had literally nailed him to the wall.using railroad spikes. Trull's arms were spread out wide as were his legs. His skin had been sliced down the entire length of his arms and legs, the skin pulled away from his muscle and tacked to the wall.
The skin and muscle on his chest had been removed as well and part of his rib cage, revealing his black dead heart. Spike took another step closer, his eyes widening as he noticed she had carefully removed Trull more `delicate parts'. He winced slightly as he thought about how bad that had to have hurt.
There wasn't any skin left on the front of Trull's body, it had all been peeled away and tacked to the wall. His face was also bare of any skin. All was left was muscle tissue, except for in a few places where it looked as if she had been doing a little research on the contents of his stomach. The more Spike stared at him, the more nervous he became.
"You know Kitten, if I've ever pissed you off or anything.."
Ravyn giggled as she walked over to Spike, the look on his face priceless. "The only kind of torture I plan on ever showing you involves handcuffs and leather whips." She said softly as he leaned up, kissing him quickly.
Spike smiled as he looked at her. "Glad to hear it."
Trull looked up, watching as everyone stared at him. He mumbled, trying to curse her for everything he thought she was worth, but the removal of his tongue made it impossible to speak.
Ravyn looked up at Trull as she heard him and smiled. "Now what did I tell you?" she asked, "That's what got you in that shape to begin with."
"Well, what are you going to do with him?" Blake asked, finally deciding he had had enough of his anatomy lesson.
Spike smiled as he walked up to Trull. "I've been wanting to do this for longer than you can image." He said quietly as he reached in his pocket and pulled a stake out. "Burn in hell you bastard." He told him before he shoved the stake in his exposed heart.
Ravyn smiled, relief washing over her as she saw Trull's body crumble to dust. She smiled bigger as she saw the satisfied look on Spike's face as he turned around and walked back over to her. "I knew you were waiting for that." She said, wrapping her arms around his waist.
Spike smiled and leaned down, kissing her as he wrapped his arms around her.
"What about these guys?" Dylan asked as he looked at the rest of Trull's remaining minions.
Angel turned and looked at them, debating on whether they would all stand still long enough to dust them or if they would have to fight them.
Ravyn pulled back from Spike, grinning as he whined a little. She turned her head and looked out at the vamps assembled in the room. "Well boys....it's time." She said as she turned and walked in front of the guys and looked at Trull's minions.
"Yes Mistress Ravyn." Edward said, giving her a small nod of his head.
The guys all watched wide-eyed as the vamps all started dusting themselves, each waiting for the stake to fall before another one would pick it up and finish himself off.
"How...what...who.."Blake tried to say as he watched.
Ravyn giggled as she turned back to Spike. "Take me home." She said, laying her head on his shoulder as he too watched along with the others as the last vampire fell to dust.
"How'd you do that?" Spike asked her.
"Not telling." Ravyn said grinning. "Now take me home." She said again, raising her head and smiling up at him.
Spike shook his head at her and grinned. "Sure thing luv."

(3 months later)
"What are you doing out here?" Spike asked as he sat down behind Ravyn and pulled her back against him.
"Just listening." She said smiling as she pulled his arms around her tighter.
Spike smiled as he looked out over the ocean. He leaned his head over, resting his cheek against Ravyn's head and inhaled deeply, catching her scent.
"I didn't expect you to be up so soon." Ravyn said smiling ae tue turned her head to look at Spike.
Spike grinned as he looked down at her. "You could have waited for me."
Ravyn giggled before turning back around. "Not in my nature to gloat like you do."
"I do not." Spike said, trying to sound offended. "Besides...I didn't really pass out."
Ravyn laughed as she shook her head. "Yes you did."
Spike smiled before he kissed her on the top of the head. *Okay, maybe he did, but that was beside the point.*
Ravyn sat up slightly as Spike started wiggling around behind her and she turned her head to see what he was doing. "Problems?" she asked smiling.
"No." Spike said, holding out an envelope for her.
Ravyn looked down at the envelope and looked up at him before reaching for it. "What's this?" she asked as she leaned back against him again.
"Anniversary present." Spike told her.
"Anniversary?" Ravyn asked confused as she turned her head to look at him.
Spike smiled as leaned down, kissing her briefly before looking back up at her. "Yeah, been one year today that I found you again." He said softly as he looked at her.
Ravyn smiled as she looked at him.
"Open it." Spike said, eager to see her reaction.
Ravyn turned back around when he tightened his arms back around her and broke the seal on the envelope. She reached inside and pulled the two pieces of paper out and looked at them before turning and looking back at Spike again. "Tickets?"
Spike smiled as he looked at her. "I'm going to give you the world." He said softly.
Ravyn looked back down at the tickets, actually reading them this time. "I haven't seen much outside of the country, but I'm pretty sure there's more to the world than Hawaii." She said smiling.
"That's just the first stop." Spike told her smiling. "I've already made all the arrangements. Should take us roughly eight months to see it all, that is unless we stay over anywhere for longer than planned."
Ravyn smiled as she looked back at the tickets. Eight months 'alone' with Spike...now that was a gift.
Ravyn looked back up when his hand came around in front of her. She blinked a few times when she saw what he was holding.
"I promised you, that I'd give you everything you ever dreamed of." Spike said softly as he looked at her. "I can't give you babies, but I'll buy you a whole house full of `em if you want. I can't make you a famous dancer, but I'll kill whoever I have to to see that you become one and a home we already have. The only other thing you said you ever wanted out of life was to marry a man who loved you."
Ravyn blinked her eyes repeatedly, trying to gets the tears forming there to go away as she looked at the small box in Spike's hand. She knew he could feel her shaking, it felt like her insides were going to jar loose any minute now as she looked at the ring he was holding out for her.
"I love you Ravyn...will you marry me?" Spike said, waiting nervously as he looked at her.
"Spike..." Ravyn started, but stopped as her throat closed off.
Spike knew this was a bad idea. He sighed lightly as he looked at her. That stupid romantic junk she always liked finally came back to bite him hard this time.
Ravyn turned to look at him, surprised to see the sullen look on his face. She smiled as she leaned up and kissed him.
Spike smiled at her when she pulled away. He reached up, brushing her hair away from her face. "It was..."
"Yes" Ravyn said interrupting him, smiling big as she looked at him. "I'd love to marry you Spike."
Spike smiled as he looked at her. He felt all his tension fall away as she smiled at him. He leaned down kissing her again, wrapping his arms around her tightly.
Ravyn giggled as she pulled away from him. "Did you look this nervous when you asked Buffy?" she asked as she looked at him.
"Probably more." He said grinning. "Wasn't quiet as hard the second time."
Ravyn looked down when he pulled his hands around and she looked at the ring as he pulled it out of the box. She couldn't wipe the smile off her face as he slipped it on her finger. She had dreamed about this moment for sixty-nine years, never expecting to ever have it. She looked up when Spike lifted her hand, giving it a small kiss.
"I love you Ravyn."
"I love you too Spike." She said, grinning madly as she threw herself at him, both of them tumbling back onto the sand.
Spike chuckled as he flipped her over. "So how do the beaches of Maui sound as the perfect place to say I do?"
"Sounds like a dream come true." She said quietly as she looked up at him.
Ravyn closed her eyes as Spike leaned down and kissed her again.
"I love you." They both said at the same time, laughing lightly after they broke the kiss.
"Always." Spike whispered to her.
"Forever." Ravyn said, knowing that no matter what life decided to throw at her, as long as he was by her side, she'd make it through.
