Hemery burned. Hopefully, they all died this time. She never expected Amilyn to attack the gym, she thought he was dust. It must have been a fake-wood ruler that she had staked him with. Still, it caught her completely off-guard when the new head of Rantegor stormed the cheerleader's final practice before the big game. She had been watching just outside the door to the locker rooms like she had since getting kicked off the team two months before. Shortly after the sun set, the screams began. Buffy had run outside, and saw vampires attacking the field. When they saw her, all of the Order chased after her back into the gymnasium. The cheerleaders shrieked and fled the scene. Buffy reached into her bag to grab her cross and her hairspray. She held the cross to the closest vampire, setting him ablaze, then used the hairspray to spread the flame to all the rest. Her mom had moved away after the divorce. To some totally lame-o place called Sunnydale. They most def didn't have a Bullock's there. On the plus, they probably wouldn't have vampires there either? But who would want to live in a total unclutch place called Sunnydale? She could stay in LA, but she'd probably get in major trouble after this. And she absolutely hated her new stepmom. Honestly, the woman thought her name was Bobby! Buffy and Bobby sound nothing alike. But if she stayed in LA she'd have to face the places where Pike and Merrick died. They died because of her. She never wanted to see another vampire again. No, she'd go live with her mom in some po-dunk town where there were no vampires, and she could just be a normal, average girl and go to school dances where no one died and the principal was sane and didn't accuse her of recreational drug-use. Even if it was a lame-o town like Sunnydale. Sunnydale. She watched it burn.

Okay, so there are vamps in Sunnydale. Like, a mega-ton. It's apparently the total hot-spot for the undead. So bogus. And they all wore the most out-dated clothes she'd ever seen. And of course, they were the only ones who didn't get the memo that she was the new slayer. She wasn't even new at this point! She'd been the Slayer for several months before Merrick even found her.
She'd made some new friends. Well, actually, she developed some clingers that were, pos like, two giant steps to the left of unpopular, but they didn't try to commit her when they found out about vamps. True, one seemed to like her, but she totes knew how to handle that. She wasn't exactly over Pike yet. On the plus, the other was a smarty and could do, um, help her do her homework. On the neg, she already got a potential friend/minion killed. And a for sure dweeb was trying to take over from Merrick. Of course, she got a brand-new Watcher that still needed training. He had no clue what to do when she was out slaying. No matter what this British dude said, she'd always be Merrick's Slayer. And this really annoying guy was stalking her. She really didn't like it when people did that, especially when they insulted her and refused to give her straight answers. She just had to change schools and cities, she didn't need a whole new clique, new Watcher, new boyfriend. She needed just a scoshe of time to adjust. She could always due with new friends, but she didn't want a pair trained monkeys hanging on to her every word. She wasn't like that anymore! .....Much.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She could not hurt these people. They would take her to her mate if she was good and did what they said.
Ever since crawling out of her grave, she could feel him more closely. He was just waking, and he was hungry and horny and hers, all hers. She felt him notice their connection, felt first his confusion, then easy acceptance. He wanted her, too. He was a little surprised at how badly he wanted her, but she didn't care. She was his, and he was hershershers.
The people she thought she knew wanted her to wake up some small human-creature in a hospital bed. She didn't want to stay, Mate was calling. She hoped if she helped then shiny-eyes and flame-hair and the loud one would get her to her mate. He was hers and horny and hungry...and...human? Her mate was dying! He was sick with something that made him as weak as a human. She had to get to him before something else got to him, or someone discovered of his vulnerabilities. This hideous monster in front of her was keeping her busy. It was preventing her from saving her frail mate. It had to be destroyed.
The sleeping boy was here, maybe he knew how to get rid of the monstrous creature so she could get to her mate and return him to his former glory.
When the spell had broken, Buffy felt her heart restart and the demon leave, allowing her to think more clearly. Who was at the other end of the connection? It had to be a vampire, and a strong one at that, but the only vampire she was familiar with was Angel. She heavily doubted that her mystery vamp was him. Could it be Blue-Eyes? Was he a vampire? That wouldn't be to much of a surprise. She didn't even know that Angel was a vampire until he lost control, so Blue-Eyes must be an extremely old and powerful vamp to have more control than Angel. Shiny-ey–Giles was right, Buffy needed to train her sense better.
She felt the mystery vamp-turned-human's heart stop over the link before the connection faded to a dull hum and she could no longer sense anything across it.
Buffy decided to see if Blue-Eyes was a vamp in her dreams that night...if she ever got to sleep after that nightmare.

She died. He felt it. She was dead and all Spike did was scream.
Goldilocks was dead, and he sodding felt it. She must have been a slayer, because the instant Goldilocks died, Spike had felt the next slayer called. His Goldilocks was a bloody slayer, the slayer whose calling he felt hundreds of times more intensely than any slayer before. She was the Slayer Spike wanted to meet. And now she was gone and Nest was just bones. All while he had been settling in fucking Prague. He wondered if the next slayer would be able to destroy Nest once he was brought back from bones. Probably not, the head of a line could only be defeated or destroyed by a slayer of the same lin–oh, bloody hell. Goldilocks had been an Aurelian Slayer. That must have been why Spike had felt her being called so strongly. That had to be why he had such a compelling connection with her. She was the only slayer he had ever felt since he'd discovered how to tap into the Slayer Line in 1887. Goldilocks had been the first Aurelian Slayer in hundreds of years. And she was gone.
After he gathered up Druscilla and left Prague, Spike decided to track down the next slayer and kill her as a tribute to Goldilocks. He had lost his greatest potential foe, before their first fight. He needed retribution. He'd take Dru to a church-run orphanage before they left so she would agree to go with him. Dru loved to play with children and nuns.

Prague burned.
That should show them. How dare they attack his dark princess? So what if she went on a rampage in an orphanage? His plum still had some issues with nuns. But that wasn't her fault! Oh no, it was all her shoibag of a sire's fault. If that tosser hadn't turned her on the day she took her vows, she wouldn't have this sodding obsession with nuns anyway. Bloody hell! If he hadn't driven her insane before he turned her, she would never have drifted from her Spike, her faithful lover for over a hundred years! She regularly strayed from him, even though she was the only woman he'd ever been with. She would be faithful if she was sane, he was sure of it. It was fucking Angelus' fault. She wouldn't be sick now either were not for him. She lacked the sanity to run from an angry mob. They shot at her with holy water filled bullets. Those bastards! Luckily, Spike was able to flush out the wounds before she dusted, but she was still unreasonably weak. He didn't know exactly how to cure her, but he was sure that a little power boost couldn't hurt. They would go to the Aurelian Hellmouth–Sunnydale. When Spike felt the power of the Hellmouth start banging about inside of him, begging to be released, he was boggled, to say the least. Ten days later, as he was packing up Dru's dolls in final preparations to travel to the same Sunnyhell that was calling to him, he wondered what it could mean. He brought it up before Druscilla, not expecting her to answer or even give a sign that she was listening–he was just ranting on, wanting to give her something to focus on. Of course, he was surprised when she answered, and even more shocked at what she said: "Sunshine found the giant, and ground his bones to make her bread." No matter, the Hellmouth had to make her better. Then he would find the Slayer and kill her, for Goldilocks. Sunnydale. He watched it burn. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
