Part Four.
Faith slipped back down the stairs and took a quick peek at the demon and then moved back up to the vary spacious living room. She played with the stereo and then turned on the tv, sat down put her feet up on the coffee table and just waited for Buffy to return.
As she sat there, her eyes grew heavy and soon she had fallen on her side and was sleeping. It didn't take her long to find herself dreaming that same dream again either.
Her and Buffy were out doing there usual slaying on a particularly rainy evening and when they got back to Faith's they were both soaked and covered in mud. Both girls would run into Faith's dingy hotel room and argue about who got to shower first, with Faith letting Buffy go first each time.
Next Faith would be lying on her bed and she would watch ever so closely as Buffy slowly removed her wet clothes and tossed them to the floor. Soon she would be naked and Faith would study every inch of Buffy's slender and toned body. Faith would find herself moaning and grabbing her own breasts as she admired the beauty of her pretty blonde slayer friend.
She would then watch as Buffy gracefully made her way into the shower and watch her silhouette through the glass and instead of waiting for her to finish, she would get up off the bed, remove her own damp, dirty clothes and then walk into the bathroom, open the shower door, step inside with Buffy and grab her by the shoulders, turn her around and without saying a word, would kiss her long and hard on the lips.
Buffy would be caught off guard, but continued the kiss and soon had her arms around Faith and would pull her closer.
The two girls would kiss for ages, as the warm water splashed against there equally hot bodies. Once out of the shower they would run over to Faith's bed and just lie there, holding hands and staring into each other's eyes.
Faith would move the hair away from Buffy's face and then with all the courage she could muster, she would look deep into Buffy's eyes and say, "Buffy, I love you." And just as Buffy would begin to answer, she would wake up every single time, just like now.
"Damn it. Why does this keep happening? Just once, I'd like to hear an answer." Faith said, trying to find some humor in her very annoying predicament.
Buffy was leading her giant companion through the empty halls of the high school when she bumped into Xander and Willow.
"Wow. Where'd you find this freak of nature Buffy?" Xander asked, as he made a circle around Harkon and then stopped to just gawk at the sight of him.
"Xander, grow up. This person...thingy...demon..., well whatever it is, has feelings to you know....I...think. Don't you?" Willow wondered out loud.
"My name is Harkon. Master of the dream realm."
"Yes, we do know that now. Your not part computer are you?" Buffy grinned, then turned back to her friends, "Look guys, we have to get Harkon here to the library so Giles can have a talk with him about the little demon friend he bought with him to destroy us."
They all turned and made there way down the hall and soon were pushing open the library doors and watched as Giles stood up at his table, removed his glasses and began to study Buffy's new guest.
"Well, well, well, what have we here Buffy?" Giles said as he took a few more steps towards the gigantic figure.
"He was on the mayor's yacht. He's quite friendly, for a guy who is helping the mayor destroy us that is. But, it's the demon he brought with him that may be our biggest concern."
"He speaks our language? This is fascinating." Giles could hardly contain his enthusiasm and was hovering around creature studying it closely, then looked at everyone staring at him and composed himself and continued, "Right, where were we again? Oh yes, where is he from? Why is here?"
"Please address me if you are in need of information." Harkon announced, as he gave Giles a very stern look.
"Yes, well, I apologize for that. Now, would you be so kind as to tell me about this demon you have brought to Sunnydale?"
"The demon is called, Chantara. It's main purpose is to destroy the minds of it's victims through mind control. It can't be sent back to where it came, it must either be killed or sent to another dimension."
Giles was taking in everything the demon was telling them, "Interesting, well we can't very well kill it until we have tried to send it back to another dimension. It's not how we work. Willow, come with me and we will search through the books and try and find some spell to send it back as soon as possible. No doubt the mayor is aware that something has gone wrong by now and I think Faith could use some help again Buffy."
"Yes, I am on my way now Giles."
"Hey, what am I chopped liver? Wait, don't answer that. I can do something here you know." Xander added, looking at everyone but getting no response.
Buffy saw Xander and could see he needed something to do and so she walked over to him, stopped inches in front of him and gave him her best serious look, "Okay Xander, you can go stake out the mayor's place, from a very safe distance I might add, then let Faith and I know if you see anyone or anything entering or exiting his office."
"That's more like it. No point in wasting my surveillance skills like that. I'll report in as soon as I know anything." Xander replied, a look of pride covered his face as he watched Buffy disappear out the door and then watched as Giles and Willow headed towards the bookshelves, then stopped and realized he had a job to do and scurried off to the Mayor's.
Buffy made her way back to the yacht and was climbing up the mini stairs to the yacht when she heard a loud noise from down below, she instantly ran to the entrance and tried to open the door, but it was locked, so she knocked on it and yelled out, "Faith? Faith, was that you?"
Just then the door opened and Faith popped her head up and said, "Yep, it's me. Didn't like the song that was on so I tried to shut the radio off from the couch. Missed by an inch. So, what did the bookworm say?"
Buffy followed Faith back inside, "Well, Giles, Willow and Harkon are trying to find a spell to send back our little prisoner to another dimension. We are here to guard it and keep it out of the mayor's hands until they do."
"I say we sick the demon on the mayor and then kill when it's done so it can't do any more damage."
"Think about that for a minute Faith. At the moment we have the demon all locked up and you want to unleash it and hope it *only* gets rid of the mayor? Who knows how many other people it could turn crazy or kill before we stopped it. It's just too unpredictable."
"Fine, get technical. If we don't use it, you know the mayor will just call some other demon to replace it." Faith answered, as she paced back and forth around the cabin.
"That is probably true, but we just can't play by the mayor's rules. That's part of being the good guys. We will stop him. You'll see." Buffy assured her, knowing full well she did have a point.
"Hey, I'm going try and do this your way and see how it works. I just don't think waiting for the mayor to attack is the smart thing to do."
"I agree. And after this, we will have to take a closer look at what to do about this guy. Anyway, how is our demon guest? Cause you any trouble?"
"Not a peep out of it."
"Good. So, what did you want to do while waiting for the next vamp attack?" Buffy said, as she tried to figure out what was going on with Faith. She hadn't stopped pacing since she arrived and had barely looked at her,. "Is there something wrong Faith? You seem distracted."
"Oh, it's...it's nothing. Really." Faith shrugged, as she moved up the stairs to the main deck and walked to the back of the yacht and leaned up against the railing and looked out into the warm summer nigh
Buffy followed right behind her and walked slowly up to where Faith was standing, and just stood beside her and didn't say a word. She knew something was bothering her, but she was hoping that Faith would let her know on her own.
Faith looked at Buffy then back into the sky, "You don't have to follow me around you know. I'm not stealing the silverware or anything."
"I know. Did you ever think that maybe I wanted to be here?"
"No. Not at all. Although, I should have guessed as much." Faith said, her tone once again getting somber.
"Why do you always say that? Like everything I do means nothing? Is that how you really see me? As some case worker, who is only doing her job?"
Faith didn't know how to answer her. She always felt the best defense to getting hurt, is pushing people away before they could do any damage.
"No, I shouldn't have said anything." Faith said then turned to walk away. She took one step and Buffy grabbed her arm and turned her around swiftly. "You aren't going anywhere."
Faith stared into Buffy's eyes and could tell she was very serious, but she knew she couldn't tell Buffy what was going on, so she did what came naturally, "Really? And who's gonna stop me?"
"I will if I have to. It's up to you."
"Why do you keep doing this B? Look, talking isn't going to get us anywhere. Trust me."
"I don't understand. Am I that hard to talk to?"
"No, you've been great B. I just think some things are better left unsaid." Faith said, as she moved back to the railing and began looking out at the vastness of the sky. Doing anything to avoid to avoid being in such close contact with Buffy.
"Such as?"
"You don't want to know. That's my point."
"Is this about me then? Don't you think I deserve a chance to hear what it is and then let you know my side of whatever this is?"
"Stop it. I'm won't do this. I can't." Faith said, her voice trailing off into tears. Something Buffy was not prepared for.
She put her hands on Faith's shoulders, turned her around and Faith just wrapped her arms around Buffy and held her close as she finally let out all her emotions that she had been bottling up for years.
Buffy new this had to be good for Faith and all she could do was make her feel safe and show her that everything was going to be okay, so she did. She stood there holding Faith for a good 15 minutes, just moving the hair out of her face and letting her cry and hoping it would help her open up a little more, or at the very least, release some of that anger and rage she had inside.
Faith finally lifted her head off Buffy's shoulder and took a step back and wiped her eyes and said, "I bet you got a big thrill out of seeing me balling my eyes out?"
"Your wrong Faith. I don't like seeing you in pain. I don't like knowing I may have said something to cause this either. Where do you get these ideas about me?"
"I didn't....I don't think that. I just...I don't know how to say what I really mean most of the time. Things just pop out before I can stop them."
"Well, you don't seem like the shy type to me Faith." Buffy said with a smile.
"Just goes to show you B, things aren't always as they seem." Faith replied softly, "I'm not good at this either, but I want to say sorry for falling apart on you like that and well...you know....., thanks for being here I when I needed it."
Buffy put her arm on Faith's shoulder “It's not called falling apart Faith. It's called letting out some emotions. And I keep telling you I am always here for you."
"I kind of hope I can tell you this to one day. Anyway, enough about me. You look like you could use some sleep there B."
"I'm not going anywhere Faith, so when your ready, let me know."
Buffy turned around just in time to take a viscous punch to the side of the head from some unfriendly vamp.
Faith turned just in time to see Buffy hit the ground and she called out to see if Buffy was okay, then upon hearing she was lunged a savage attack on the unfortunate one who knocked Buffy to the ground.
Faith did some serious damage to the vamp before staking it and moving on to the next one. There were more attackers this time than before and they seemed stronger and maybe even smarter than the usual group they were used to slaying in no time.
Each girl took a few extra shots this time around and as they were getting near the end of the battle, one of the vamps caught Buffy off guard and knocked her hard to the ground and then gave her a very swift kick to the mid section.
Faith saw this out of the corner of her eye and left her attacker to go help Buffy and she kicked one to the ground and then blocked a couple punches from another one and then staked him and then knelt down to check on Buffy, who was just shaking off the cobwebs and as Faith held out her hand to help Buffy up she was dealt a very hard blow to the head by a vamp carrying a piece of wood and she went down hard.
"Nooooo! Faaaiiitttthhhh." Cried Buffy as she turned and staked the vamp behind her, jumped up on the railing and grabbed hold of one of the poles and threw herself onto the second last vamp and drove her stake into it and then set her sights on the last vamp, who was stupid enough to lunge at Buffy, who blocked his attack and then sent one last stake into it and it vanished with it's usual poof and then Buffy ran back over to Faith who was still lying on the ground.
Part Five.
Faith wasn't moving and Buffy knew she had to get her inside before the next wave of vamp's came a calling, so she grabbed Faith's arms and then pulled her up just enough to grab onto her and put her over her shoulder and she made her way to the cabin stairs and gently placed Faith on the couch and then found a cloth and some ice and put it on the very large bruise on Faith's forehead. Then she ran to the phone and called Giles.
"Giles. Listen up. You better find that spell, incantation or whatever to get rid of this demon, because the mayor is not giving up on it. He just sent a horde of vamp's after us and Faith took a real beating and I don't know how bad it is yet. The sooner we get rid of demon guy, the better off we will all be."
"Slow down Buffy. Willow and I believe we have found the right spell to send it to another dimension, and thanks to Harkon, we believe we can invoke it from here. We will get on this now and you just take care of Faith."
"I will. Just hurry." Buffy said frantically and then moved back over to where Faith was lying and knelt down beside her and adjusted the cold compress and then just watched as Faith lie there so still, so quiet, so unlike Faith.
Buffy could see her breathing, but she still looked so helpless and fragile like this and it was very disturbing for Buffy to witness.
The one thing Faith always had going for her was energy and now she lie helpless, unable to move, talk or do any of the things she loved to do.
It was now that Buffy really began think. About everything, but mainly Faith and her own feelings and how her heart seemed so sad right now as she watched Faith fight through what she hoped was only a minor injury.
"Faith. Don't you die on me. Do you hear me? Not now," Buffy said frantically, as she sat beside her injured friend feeling so helpless and it was driving her crazy.
Then remembered that people were told to talk to those in coma's or who were unconscious and she felt this might be the best chance to let Faith know some of the things she was feeling, but couldn't ever say. Buffy tried to calm herself down and then took a deep breath and began.
"Well, here we are. I don't know if you can hear me, but I am going say a few things to you anyway. First, your not going to die on me, okay? I want to make that very clear. Not after all we've been through together. There are too many things I haven't said yet. It's times like these that help you realize how quickly life can change. If you don't just live each day to the fullest, you could be missing out on so much happiness. I don't want that anymore."
Buffy paused for a moment and went over to the sink and changed the cloth and then checked to make sure Faith was still breathing smoothly and then she sat back down beside her and took her hand and continued.
"Do you remember the t dat day we met? You were taking care of this vamp outside the Bronze and me and the gang were looking on in amazement. I didn't know how to feel about another slayer coming to town, but I certainly grew to welcome your presence in my life." Buffy was still holding Faith's hand and trying to stay positive and strong for her so she took a sip of water and continued.
"Of course my mom just loved you from day one. Thought you were just what I needed. Someone to watch my back and help with the good old slaying duties and you did that so well. The way you were able to bring some excitement and fun back into my life after the whole Angelus thing was so important to me. And along the way, something changed in how I saw you. First I started thinking about you after a night of very intense slaying. Just wondering how you were and if you were safe. And I would miss you when we went on separate patrols. Sure I tried to shrug it all off but it always came right back even more powerful than before. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, that I have come to think of you as more than just a friend. I know telling you this might make you run for the hills or confuse you totally, or both, but what I really hope will happen is to maybe bring a little happiness into your life." Buffy squeezed Faith's hand and smiled, "You know, you can wake up and stop me if you want?"
A moment or two past and then Buffy felt Faith squeeze her hand back and she jumped to her feet and looked down at Faith. Her eyes were still closed, but managed to turn her head to the side and said, "Why would I stop you from making me happy for once in my life. I mean truly happy."
"Oh, does that mean you know......that you heard everything? Why didn't you say something?" Buffy said, as she knelt back down beside Faith, who had finally opened her eyes, which were again filled with tears, but this time, they were the good kind.
"I heard enough to know that I wasn't dreaming this time. I don't even know if I want to start talking though, because that always gets me in trouble." Faith said softly, her voice filled with emotion and grogginess.
Buffy's face lit up and she gave Faith a big hug, "You don't have to say anything Faith. I just wanted you to know how I felt about you."
"I have a lot to say B. And knowing how you feel just makes it so much easier. You might want to have a seat though, because this could take awhile."
"Oh, I like being right here Faith." Buffy added as she leaned over and kissed Faith softly on the lips.
"What was that for?"
"It was to show you how much I love you. And because I have wanted to do that for so long now."
Faith smiled widely, "Well, feel free to do that any time you want. Now, I really do want to tell you a few things and if I don't get them out, then I will find a way to bury them again."
"Okay. I'm listening."
Faith sat up just a little and looked deep into Buffy's eyes, "I have wanted to tell you how I felt so many times, but never could find the words. I loved having you as a friend and I really didn't want to blow that. I have never had a friend like you before and..., oh who am I kidding, I don't think I've had a real friend ever." her voice again trailing off at another painful memory.
She shook it off and then took Buffy's hand, " Anyway, I figured it would be better to keep things the way they were and not risk losing you completely. That I couldn't handle So, I did just that. But now I don't want to keep quiet anymore. I want to tell you everything I have been feeling and it's all good B." Faith said, lifting her aching body into a sitting position and then took Buffy's hand and held it tightly.
Buffy smiled back at her, "Yes, it's all good Faith. So very good now."
Faith nodded her head in agreemend then started in again. "I have thought about this moment for so long, what I would say and how I would say it, but I guess there is only one way to say this. I love you Buffy Summers."
Buffy's eye's began to tear up and she smiled widely at Faith and said, "I love you to Faith. I am finally able to say it and it feels so good. Even better knowing you feel the same way."
"I can't believe how happy those words can make me. You know I never believed love was possible for me. I figured my life was meant to be spent slaying vamp's and living in that crummy hotel room alone and miserable. I really do have you to thank for changing all that. You gave me hope. You stuck with me when you had every reason to leave. I know I made things hard, but I guess it was just hard to believe I was worth the effort. Guess I'm a pretty insecure girl when it comes down to it."
"Listen Faith, that's all in the past now. But, don't think I was the only one doing the helping here. You helped me to. In so many ways. You gave me hope to when I was down and just going through the motions of living. Slaying was all I did. After Angelus did what he did, things were never quite the same for Angel and I and even though we tried so hard to ignore it, we both knew it wasn't going to work. That hurt so much. You showed me how to live again. How to have fun. How to laugh. And yes even how to get into trouble, but it was all worth it. Once you were in my life, everything changed for me. Every day I felt closer to you. I kept hoping I would see you once more, hear your sexy voice, feel your body so close when we practiced, feel your hand on mine. With each touch meaning so much more as time passed. I just want you to know that you did as much for me as you think I did for you."
"So, you think I have a sexy voice do you?" Faith smiled, then pulled Buffy close and kissed her deeply.
"I'm really starting to like this." Buffy added, as she returned the kiss and then pulled away briefly, "Oh, and yes I do love your voice. I don't know how to describe it, it's so raw and exudes sex appeal, and it's just another part of you that I love. I actually fantasized about having a very erotic phone conversation with you once. But, that's another story."
"Do tell! I was part of Buffy Summers fantasy life? Well, I can certainly relate to that. But mine always ended so bad. Speaking of that, I do want to talk to you about that one day. Because you never answered me once in mine." Faith smiled again, her face lighting up like never before and she moved in for another kiss.
The two women fell to the couch locked in a passionate kiss, their arms holding on to each other for dear life. Not wanting to let this moment end, they soon began there night of love.
As if they could read each others minds, there hands began to peel away the clothing almost instinctively, yet never breaking the kiss, save to remove Faith's tight red t-shirt. In moments they lie naked on the large gray couch, lips locked together, hands intertwined as they savored the closeness, the warmth of the other's body and the incredible feeling of finally being able to express the love they have been holding inside for all those long months.
Buffy slowly let her lips pull away from Faith's, but continued to kiss her way down Faith's beautiful neck, then down to her chest, before kissing every inch of her ample breasts. Buffy's tiny hands caressed Faith's firm round breasts, causing Faith to moan her approval.
Buffy kissed her way over Faith's nipple and circled around it with her tongue, flicking it softly and then taking it into her mouth, covering it completely, before releasing it and moving to her other nipple where she hungrily licked her way around the nipple, kissing, holding and squeezing her soft warm breasts before taking the nipple into her mouth, swirling her tongue around it as selt elt it get harder and harder in her mouth.
"Oh god that feels so good." Faith moaned lightly, as she slid her hand down Buffy's back and just held her as close as she could.
"I've only just begun." Buffy smiled, as she looked up at Faith and then moved up and kissed her once more on her soft full lips and then slowly broke the kiss and moved her hands down Faith's sexy body and slowly slid them down between her creamy thighs, pulled her right leg up to her lips and kissed her way up to her inner thighs before moving her mouth over Faith's steaming pussy.
Buffy's breath made contact with Faith's very sensitive clit it sent shivers up and down Faith's spine and she let out an audible moan of pleasure and pushed her hips forward anticipating what was to happen next.
Buffy then kissed and licked her way up and down Faith's other leg and then made her way back up to where Faith was anxiously awaiting her and placed her left hand under her ass and , her right hand sat delicately on Faith's left inner thighs. She gave a little tug on Faith's hips and pulled Faith even closer to her and watched as Faith put her hands over her own breasts, looked down at Buffy and just smiled and watched as Buffy's tongue made contact with her clit for the first time.
Faith's whole body felt the amazing sensations as Buffy began to ease her tongue up and down Faith's now very wet pussy. Faith was rotating her hips slowly, her moans becoming increasingly louder as Buffy continued to run her tongue over Faith's now very hard clit.
Buffy's tongue was moving feverishly over and around Faith's clit, licking her, tasting her, pleasing her as best she could and as she watched Faith writhe around on the bed, moaning, smiling and continuously playing with her own breasts.
"Yes, yes. Right there Buffy. Don't stop. Don't ever stop." Faith screamed, and then leaned down, put here hands on Buffy's head and just held it close to her and enjoyed the pleasure Buffy was so enthusiastically giving her.
Buffy smiled as she felt Faith's hands running through her blond hair and she then moved her right hand towards where her tongue was working and slowly slid a finger inside Faith's moist pussy and then began to slide in and out at a very steady pace, trying to match the rhythm of her tongue and soon she was moving in perfect unison and it was driving Faith crazy with desire and she was not shy about sharing her feelings with anyone who was within earshot of her cries of joy.
Buffy wasn't letting up at all, her tongue snaking over her clit from every possible angle. She then slid another finger inside Faith's raging pussy and began increasing the speed of both her fingers and her tongue and Faith was now grabbing at anything to hold on as Buffy was sending her to her first real orgasm in her life.
Faith's head was thrashing back and forth against the small cushioned side of the couch , her hips bucking to meet each of Buffy's movement and she breath becoming faster and labored, as her moans turned to screams of ecstasy and she was crying out, "Oh Buffy, I'm coming, ohhhh..." and after a breathtaking symphony of convulsions, Faith slowly became still.
Buffy kissed her way back up Faith's body, pausing to kiss her erect nipples, then kissed her neck, chin and then found her mouth and gave her a very long, sweet kiss while holding her so close and just remembering every moment of this amazing night.
Faith managed to regain her composure and took Buffy's hand and held it close to her heart, "That was incredible. I don't even know what to say. Nothing seems good enough." she stumbled to find the right words but stopped and just stared deep into Buffy's eyes I love you is all I can think of right now."
"Oh Faith, that's all I ever need to hear. I love you to," Buffy smiled as a look of true happiness covered her face. Those three little words from Faith made her feel like her life was only just beginning.
"Well, I have only just begun to show you how much I love you. So, you think your up for it B?" said Faith, a wicked grin crossing her pretty face.
Buffy smiled back, "You know I am."
"I like the sound of that." Faith smiled, leaned up and kissed Buffy's soft lips and the two slayers spent the night making love and falling asleep in each other's arms. Something they both knew they would be doing every night for the rest of there lives.
