Andrew's his own worst enemy. It's like Midas, you know? Except in reverse. Everything he touches turns to - what's anti-gold? Dull lead, or yellow foil on chocolate coins?

When he tries to explain it to Dawn, she looks at him like he's nutsoid. She does that a lot.
But, fact: things don't work out for him. Especially love. He worshipped Warren. Cuddled with Jonathan like whipped puppies. Watched Spike, awe-struck. Failed. Again. And again.
Now there's Xander. Filling his daydreams and night visions. Andrews dreams of – burns for – the touch of callused hands on his face, his chest, his masculine parts. He's woken up sweaty and embarrassed more than once, sticky sheets a mess. Climaxed but unsatisfied. He still – always - wants Xander. So much.
But he doesn't dare risk it. Not even when Xander looks at him, gives him a rare grin. He knows what'll happen.
He *knows*.
