While her eyes and hair shifted to black, Willow made her skin burn to the touch, making Ace let go with a sudden hiss. A smile growing on her face, Willow spun around, not expecting the sudden bracelet that was slapped onto her wrist. As Ace yanked his hand back with a sneer, Willows vision started to spin, her body swaying dizzily as all the magic fell dormant in her body at once. With a bit of a jerk, Willow crashed to the ground unconscious.

Tara stopped with a grimace when the man at the door spoke again,
"Ah, are you going to get her for me? How kind." Tara gritted her teeth before turning, forcing a shy smile,
"N-No, I h-have to use t-the b-b-bathroom." The man smiled, waving a hand to an open door that showed a bathroom,
"So you have two bathrooms? In such a small apartment?" Tara nodded shakily, her stomach flopping and twisting. She needed to get to Willow, but how could she, with this man here? He was /looking/ for Willow - to take her away or worse. She had to play it off so he didn't know she was in there.
"T-The other b-bathroom is b-b-broken.." The mans smile grew,
"Funny. I thought this was a one bathroom apartment." Tara looked at the others for help, jumping when she heard a crash from the bedroom. She spun around and dashed to the door, blood roaring in her ears. When she tried the doorknob, her heart sank. It was locked. Everyone seemed to forget about the man in the apartment as Tara started to panic more,
"Willow?!" Tara rammed her shoulder against the door, grimacing in pain as she backed up in preparation to do it again. Buffy came over, putting a hand on her shoulder before kicking the door open. Tara pushed past her, her legs almost giving out when she saw the bed tussled, the window open and the room empty. Her fists curled as she turned, charging at the man who had been watching with a silent smile. His and everyone else in the rooms eyes widened as she shoved him against the wall.
"What did you do?!" Tara asked harshly, pressing him further into the wall.
"I-I d-dont kn-know what you're t-talking about m-ma'am.." The gang glanced at eachother, and Buffy took a small step towards her,
"Tara-"
"No!" Tara snapped, not looking away from the man in her grip, "I'm done being nice! He has something to do with this, I know it! I am /not/ letting something else happen to Willow!" Buffy glanced at the gang again and back,
"Neither are we, but hes human, Tara-" Tara noticed the man calm slightly, apparently thinking the slayer would protect him. She just intensified her glare and shoved him harder,
"That didn't stop Willow, did it? Who's to say it will stop me?"
