Everyone in the room didn't know what to do. This was really bad. Connor was never supposed to know about Angel again. The question that was on everyone's mind was " What has Wolfram and Hart done?" No one could speak, so finally Fred is the one who spoke up. " Um, is there something we can do for you, sir? This is kind of a private meeting." Connor walked into the room, and ignored Fred. He walked straight up to Angel, who was just staring at this boy who didn't know him. The boy that had once been his son. Connor got toe to toe with Angel before he finally spoke. " I had a dream about you. I had several in fact, and I saw your face on a commercial. 'Wolfram and Hart can help' you said. I knew I had to come and see you, cause why am I dreaming about some guy I've never met before?" Lorne stepped up to him then. " I think I can help you there, kid."

The look on Connor's face was priceless. He started backing up from Lorne. " You're a...You're a, I think I'll just leave." He turned around, started to leave, but Lorne stopped him. " Listen, Kid, I'm not going to hurt you. If you just sing, or even hum a little tune, then I can help you." Connor just ignored what he was saying and started to run, when Angel stopped him.
Lorne walked right up to him. " Please kid, I changed your dia...anyway, I'm not going to hurt you. I can actually help, if you'll let me." Angel was glaring at Lorne for his little slip. Fortunatly, Connor hadn't seemed to catch it. He sat down in the nearest chair. " So, you want me to sing? I think I might be able to do that." He cleared his throat, and started to hum. It wasn't a chart topping song, but a lullaby. It was an Irish Lullaby that just about everyone in the room recognized. He was about halfway through the song, when suddenly Lorne went flying through the air.

Looking down on the scene playing out before him, a lone figure stood watching. * It was all coming together nicely. He'd finally made his way back to where he belonged. None of them knew why Connor was there, but he did. It was almost time for his visit. He had to wait it out a little while longer. He also had to get Angel out of Wolfram and Hart. He was going to, too. Just give it a little more time. He'd do it.

Buffy knelt down by Lorne. He looked up at her and winced. " Oh, boy do I have to quit doing that." She helped him up, and he walked over to Angel. " We, my fanged friend, have a serious problem." Angel looked over at Connor. He wasn't supposed to ever walk through these doors. " What's the problem, Lorne? Besides, the fact that he's here, when he's not even supposed to know my name!" Lorne nodded. " Angelcakes, this is way worse." Angel looked over his shoulder at Buffy, who was in a conversation with Dawn.

Dawn walked over to where Buffy was standing. " Buffy, how come you didn't tell me?" Buffy looked over at her sister. " Didn't tell you what, Dawn?" Dawn glared at her. " How come I didn't know Angel had a son, that is my age, and the fact that he's really hot?" Buffy looked shocked. " Dawn, don't be rediculous, vampires can't reproduce. I'm sure we just heard Fred wrong." Dawn stomped her foot. " No, I just asked her. His name is Connor, and he was born two years ago. I'm not real clear on that point, so I didn't ask. Now, why didn't you tell me? I mean honestly, Buffy, something this important? How could you not tell me?" Buffy looked like she was about to cry. How could he have not told her? Oh, that's right, she wasn't a part of his life anymore. She was just his employee. A slayer, someone who can do his dirty work for him. " I didn't know, Dawn. It looks like you and I are on the same page here." She looked up at Angel and noticed he was studying her face.

Once Buffy started looking at him, he quickly looked away. Since he never told her about Connor, he knew he'd lost her for good, now. Pretty much as soon as he thought that, Lorne spoke up. " Oh, I wouldn't say that, Angel." Angel, knowing what Lorne was talking about, glared at him. " You're not supposed to read me!" He turned to Connor. " If you'll go back down to the lobby, the receptionist down there will set you up with an appointment for tomorrow." Once Connor left, he turned back to Lorne. " I'm serious, Lorne. No reading me!!" Lorne held up his hands. " Whoa, Angelcakes. I can't help, but read you. Everyone's emotions are buzzing, and you're the buzziest, my friend" Before Angel could reply, Wesley spoke up. " Well, why don't we continue this tomorrow. I'm sorry, Giles, but I've had enough excitement for one day. So, why don't we go, before another catastraphe` walks through the door." Buffy looked over at him. " I knew I disliked you for a reason! Why would you say something so jinxy?" Wesley was about to respond, when there was a knock on the door. They all turned around to see a smiling Lindsey standing in the doorway.

" I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"
