Faith quietly shut the door of the hotel room. They were momentarily staying at Angel's while they decided their next move after the destruction of Sunnydale.
She was finishing a pizza and watching some old sitcom when Buffy called her.
"Faith, it's me. Come to my room." With that, Buffy hung up.
Faith was confused, but she headed there anyway.
Now, she caught Buffy's eyes; the blonde sitting on the edge of the bed.
No words needed to be said. Faith had never seen that look before; pleading, and something else... something Faith knew she needed to help Buffy with.
Tentatively, Faith strode over to the bed. She kneeled down in front of Buffy.
The younger slayer looked down at Faith; tears still pouring down her cheeks. There were so many emotions in her eyes, but only one was beckoning Faith.
"Faith, I need..." she began.
Faith covered Buffy's lips with her fingers. "I know, B. I know."
Then, Faith moved up onto her knees, putting her hands on Buffy's face, and kissed her.
Buffy whimpered, her hands going into Faith's hair. She pulled her back, falling onto the bed and bringing the brunette with her.
Their tongues dueled in the sexual tension between them all these years; in the battle that was fought just hours earlier; in the emotion of what they'd lost and what they'd gained.
But mostly, it was the relief that they weren't fighting their feelings anymore.
Buffy slid Faith's shirt off, her hands trailing the girl's soft skin. Faith then moved her mouth down to Buffy's neck, sucking gently on the skin there.
Buffy sat them both up to pull off her own shirt. The way Faith was now straddling her and looking her up and down; Buffy now only half-dressed; had her throbbing, aching for release. Faith stared long and deep into Buffy's eyes.
Then, she kissed her in the softest brush of lips. A kiss that showed her empathy, her apology, and mostly, her love.
Pulling back and resting her forehead on Faith's, Buffy sighed. "I've always loved you, Faith. I was just afraid-"
"Shh," the brunette whispered. "It's all in the past now. This is here, this is right now. And right now, I want to show you the way I've always loved you... if you'll let me."
Buffy replied by pulling her back down on top of her and kissing her deeply. Faith brushed her hands down over her breasts, feeling Buffy's nipples harden. She trailed kisses down her neck and then took a nipple into her mouth, Buffy moaning at the contact.
Faith stood and leaned inbetween Buffy's legs against the bed, staring intensely at the smaller girl while she pulled off her boots. Then she kicked off her own and moved her hands up Buffy's thighs, stopping at the button and zipper of her jeans. She leaned over to kiss the already healing wound on her stomach and began sliding the jeans off of the blonde.
Buffy's legs dangling off the bed, Faith returned to her knees, spreading Buffy's legs. She traced her finger down to the blonde's core, reveling at the wet heat she found there. Slowly, Faith entered her with two fingers, moaning with Buffy; hers out of the arousal she felt from herself, being surrounded by Buffy's heat.
She began pumping her fingers in, out; in, out. She watched Buffy watch her as she moaned in pleasure, begging Faith for more.
The brunette wasted no time and buried her tongue in the folds of the older slayer. She sped up her fingers as her tongue and lips swirled, nipped and sucked at the blonde's clit.
Buffy's inner muscles tensed. She moaned and squeezed Faith's fingers as her orgasm hit, and she cried out her name.
