Thoroughly enjoying the read, as usual!
Noticed a couple misspellings and whatnot, but no big, you'll find and fix 'em I'm sure
Now that I've caught up and read all that you've posted, I must say, you captured poor Xander going through hell emotionally very well. I like the slow progression of the relationship between Spike and Xander as well.
I always thought Spike's past was vastly underplayed in the series, and certainly should've been explored more. I love the direction this is going.

Good beginning! I like that you've got Spike with Connor, so that he's not left out of it. Poor Xander, having such issues right now. :( Glad that you're developing the storyline with Giles as his father figure as well.
