@Meliza: I was deeply touched by your review, and I'm sorry to hear your sister is in such a situation. Truth be told, the story is all imagination and I have never been to an Arabic country. However, my story is based on a novel by Michel de Gr?ce, "La Nuit du Serail", and I watched the movie, which inspired me to write this. So I guess Michel de Gr?ce did his research well. I checked out a few things on the web, such as the sound of Arabic languages, and I had a long conversation with a Muslimic political scientist, but that was more of a coincidence than planned research.
I took the scenario from this background, but you'll find that my story differs in the way that it is, ultimately, a love story, putting Spike and Buffy in an unlikely alternate universe, whereas the situation of women in a real harem is nothing like a romance.
Again, I wish you all the best and that you'll see your sister again soon. Thank you very much for your review, and I hope you'll keep enjoying the story.
