Sniff, tear, sob. I thought it was very sad, but probably accurate. Except the dotting the I's with heart's thing, of course. I like that you address that Dawn is indeed a whiner. I think you stayed very much in canon. The only thing to watch out for is that the end doesn't turn into a screenplay type story like we talked about earlier. Overall very good. Can't wait for more!

I LOVE this story! Excellent start. Looking forward to reading more! I'm still laughing over "I was that celibate. Figured I might as well do it professionally." I liked how Dawn pointed out that Buffy wouldnt have asked Spike to watch over Dawn if something happened to her if Buffy didnt have some feeling for Spike. I never really thought about it like that. I was thinking that it was most likely cuz Spike is the strongest and would be able to protect Dawn better than the others, but I like your reasoning much better. Very good point. Please update soon!
