William is adorable. I love Spike, and his 'Big Bad bite me sod off world' attitude, and William is just such a complete opposite that he's just incredibly appealing. And from what bits we've seen of William in the series before he was turned, your characterization fits to a lovely degree. Wonderful story, I can't wait to see more. ~Ang

Ch. 3 My, this William is so sweet and charming. I got my morals from my mother and my manners from my grandmother so an appreciation for courtesy was instilled in me from the get-go. The meaning of flowers is also a lost art form; it's a wonderful surprise to see you use it in your story.
