Love this fic. The maturity you describe Xander with, and the treatment of the characters, I enjoyed also the story, how Spike gives himself to Xander. Always thought that Spike had to take care of a insane sire for more than a hundred years, and a sadistic grand-sire. Spike is made for taking care of people, from his mother, to Xander. And Xander really needs someone to take care of him.
