Wow. I'm not sure how I feel about this one agr agree with a lot of the reviewers. To me, for him to move on so quickly sucks. I could see him leaving town for awhile or making himself majorly scarce, but to flaunt this chick all over town and introduce her as somebody potentially serious to Dawn, who he has proven to really care about, well it's just plain upsetting. And Spike knows Buffy, better than ady, dy, he could always read her. So he SHOULD know that she would freak over their affair. I'm not saying Buffy is blameless here. She's always made him feel like crap. So I can see him reaching his limit. But, it just looks like, hey, I got what I want, she won't be with me yet, so I'll go check out some other chicks in the meantime. He's reinforcing every single insecurity she has. It seems like it's making it harder for him to get through to her, (provided ths jus just him trying to make her jealous). Buffy would have an even harder time learning to trust him. I, too, feel sorry for the other woman. Spike's heart and life belong to Buffy, as do hers belong to him (even if she doesn't know it yet). His new flame is going to lose here. I definitely don't want to see Buffy crawling back to Spike begging for forgiveness. I think it's sort of a tit for tat thing. I'd love to see her turn the tables on the little sh!t! JMO.

Ah, no, she didn't ask for it. She asked for Spike to stop nagging at her and pushing at her. She didn't ask to be abandoned. I totally agree with kimber, Buffy doesn't deserve to be humiliated or beat down just because she's having conflicting feelings about another vampire.

If I was her I would say fuck him. I mean come on he says he loves her and then right after that goes and finds someone else that is such complete bullshit. Buffy should go out and find someone else then. So to make this short Buffy should say fuck him and move on.

As I see it Buffy has never had it easy after Angel with relationships, then the big burn with Riley....then coming back from the dead, she wasn't all that together and Spike took some advantage of that telling her she came back wrong...and the others turned a blind eye, including Dawn to how deep she was starting to drown...Giles abandoned her at a time she needed him the most....he could not even see that she was having emotional difficulties that needed addressed not for her to be left to figure them totally out by herself...They wanted their Buffy back...and was disappointed...so case in point did not know how tol wil with the returned depressed Buffy. Being the humans they are denied this and left her out there...wandering about trying to pick up the pieces of her now mess up overly stressed life...since becoming sister, mother, head of house hold only financial money maker working a deadbeat low paying job and still having to keep the hellmouth protected....add on now she is conflicted with feelings she is having about another vampire that has been beat into her head that is wrong....by all that is close to her and remembering Angel and his losing a soul....does she was responsiblity of that again in a relationship with Spike if he loses the chip and becomes the big bad again....So I would like to see not her begging for him to come back, but for them both to see how THEY need to BE THERE FOR EACH OTHER....he needs to truly understand her fears and concerns....she lived her nightmare and had Giles lover killed by the vampire she loved at the time. She was the one that chose duty over love when she killed Angel even when she knew he was Angel again and not he alter non soul personna.....Spike, he has only been chipped, he has not really sacraficed anything for this relationship to prove to Buffy he truly does love her and wants to be all he can be FOR HER....so far it's been words....keeping his promise and protecting Dawn that is because he loved her....but what would happen if the chip failed, would he then kill those he swore to protect....hmmmmm it enough to make her doubt and fight her feelings. No one other than Dawn would support her....but this is fanfiction and so far there is nothing in this story that warrents her having to beg for him to take her back........HE instead of proving she is the one......moved on.....at what I would say in a crucial part in their relationship.....for what he needs the most is her trust, and being a woman myself going out in less then 72 hours fin finding what is described in looks as a bimbo....with a soft heart for children and being all lovey dovey with her, well that sucks in the trust department, he again proved to her, well what do you expect from a vampire without a soul.....He proved he could and would protect Dawn, but he has yet to prove he would protect Buffy's heart......Angel left because he said he loved her, Parker...well he's a whore....Riley couldn't handle Buffy and her past with Angel for one and could not accept she could protect him better than he could protect her....couldn't see the difference in Buffy when Faith had control of her body....sorry but I think Faith's actions in bed should have sent some kind of warning sign to the man....then went to female vamps for a suck job......so far Buffy's track record of picking men is lousey, so how is she supposed to know if Spike is truly for her, especially now Melinda is in the picture.....yes could make her open her eyes and see how she really feels about Spike, but how will she believe him again if he says he loves only her....and why should she beg him to take her back.....it was only a one night sex session.....now I will get off my soap box....bad time, just have a hard time with men saying I love only you and turn around and introducing someone "He really seems to like." But I would love to see a story that has them working out THE PROBLEMS in their relationship, whys and why nots instead of them being children about it. Who I really feel sorry for is Melinda, because if Spike really does love Buffy, then Melinda is getting the shitty end of the stick. Sorry, if you can't tell, recent bad romantic experiences with a couple friends and relatives......

I can't say that I blame her.....he spouts undying love and within 72 hours he as picked up someone else....and then having Dawn come to meet her....well I would be forgetting his ass and moving on my self if he can find someone that quick and REALLY like her him him....She needs to put on her best party dress and go out dancing...

LOL, yes yes yes, she TOTALLY asked for it and I'm glad she is so miserable. I hope however your planning on having her crawl back to him on hands and knees. I hate when I read stuff like this and the authors have her ruin Spikes relationship and have HIM practically beg her to go back with him. She needs to BEG him for forgiveness, she needs to ADMIT her feelings and he can't let her get away with it so easily. I mean they should ogetogether, but I don't want him to let her off so easily.

What did Spike think....that Buffy would just punch out what appears after further inspection to be a nice girl. Nope, he was very obiovious on making her jealous....which he did, he just don't know it neitneither does she yet. I just wonder if Melinda is going to make a reappearance?
