Interesting and very good insight into Tara's uncertainty.  She may have used the love word but she doesn't understand yet its hitting her hard.  One very confused vampire. ;)

I think that may depend on how far Willow and Tara goes and also the exact circumstances when a choice has to come.  If Tara is attacking one of her friends, possibly especially Xander she's likely to oppose her.  If the gang are attacking Tara she could well go the other way.  OTL Willow went dark when Tara was killed.  Whether she develops her ability as a mage here and how fast I can see her reacting strongly if people she cares about are threatened but I think it will depend on whom she sees as threatening the other.

On the other hand Tara is here a vampire and the master of others, all of whom are regular killers so that is going to he hard, if not impossible for Willow to accept.  Of course Tara could simply turn Willow but she may be reluctant to do that, at least initally.

The best option for me is for Tara to have her soul restored as Angel did, ideally without the same limitation on the curse/spell that does it.  However that would be rather unlikely I suspect.

One other complication is that no matter how much Tara is feared by her subjects if she's seen too much going 'soft' in her treatment of Willow its likely to provoke some unrest.

Well this is going to be an interesting relationship to put it mildly.;)  Tara as a very powerful and dominant vampire/mage but still strongly attracted to a largely unmagic Williow.  Williow could well end up attracted in return but then how would she live with herself while Tara and her minions are feeding off other people and a threat to her friends.  Ultimately she's going to have to take a side, which will be even more important if she starts developing her mage capacity herself.

Well still with your two favourite characters but a very interesting twist.  Sounds like Tara definitely feels something for Willow, who is a lot more vulnerable here as nothing like as strong.

A bit surprising that a character with Tara's background could become a dominant vampire so quickly, to the point that she can successfully order her underlines to let all the Scooby Gang go having them at their mercy.  Is she still an active mage as well as what being a vampire brings her more power?
