Hey - second chapter so soon... Cool! Just a few grammatical errors you might want to look at and one or two points where you mixed your tenses. I know, that seems weird coming from me as I went back to reread my first review and found quite a few misspellings myself. But, then I think I wrote it around 4am, so there ya go. Ah well... You are welcome for the review and thank you for the nice thought. You keep writin' 'em and I'll keep readin' 'em. I am really enjoying this.

I gotta tell you. I have always liked Riley, even when I didn't like what they did with his character, or how they used him (see Sam and the whole 'the Doctor' fiasco). I think fans in general seem to treat Riley very unfairly. He is a very intelligent (trust me - there maybe some very strange psychologists but there are no stupid ones, fans who write Riley as a brainless twit should take a look at the Psych GRE sometime), brave, loyal person who had a job to do and an oath that he took, which I also took at one point, to serve his country in the best way he could. When he found that it was beyong his conscience, he risked a dishonorable discharge and Levenworth at the very least to help Oz. Also, he made the fatal mistake of being human (turning to the vamp hookers for succor [yeah, I know]) without actually being a fan favorite and causing needless innocent deaths and only caring how it would affect him (Xander and Sweet) or commiting torture and murder by skinning someone alive (I don't think this one needs an explanation).

I really like the way you have started this and I am looking forward to your story with interest. I noticed you put m/m as well as m/f. Whichever way you go, I look foreard to it. I am now pondering though; you mention Graham in the story so I owndered if he was the other -m. I also have seen him paired in some very good stories with Xander (most common after Graham I think), Angel, Oz, and [especially in one melodramatic but spectacular story] Spike. There are interesting and logical reasons behind all of these pairings. In the females, I believe I have only seen him paired with Buffy, Faith, Sam and [bizarrely] Harmony. Strangely enough, the only two of these pairings I strenuously object to are Buffy and Sam. Sam was really a cipher brought on to make a point about how Buffy was yet again trying to find an easy substitute for the messy and complicated relationship she had with Spike and - oops she couldn't because now Riley had the perfect wife. Darn, Darn, Darn! And Riley really was damaged in many ways by his relationship with Buffy which I believe would really probably only repeat old patterns based on Buffy's reaction to him upon his return. I hope you put him in one of those other pairings. Regardless, I wait for your continuation impatiently.
